The paracymatophlebiid † Sinocymatophlebia and the indeterminate aeshnoid † Propecymatophlebia Huang, Nel & Cai, 2017 ^[14] , known from the Middle Jurassic of China, represent the oldest known crown group dragonflies. ^[5]
