The Mall at Partridge Creek is an open-air shopping center in Clinton Township, a suburb of Detroit, Michigan, United States. The mall opened to the public on October 18, 2007. The mall features the large-scale traditional retailer L.L.Bean in addition to a Cooper's Hawk, Brio Tuscan Grille, P. F. Chang's, and a large 14-screen MJR Theatres. The mall also features prominent specialty retailers such as Evereve, Lululemon Athletica, Apple, Dry Goods, Lush Cosmetics, and White House Black Market. [2] [3] [4]

The Mall at Partridge Creek feature, pop jet fountains, a 40' fireplace, a TV court, and welcomes dogs and provides four dog comfort stations on site. The Mall at Partridge Creek was developed by the Taubman Corporation of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. [5] It is also the first mall to open in Macomb County since Lakeside Mall in 1976. [6] The mall has reported an average sales per square foot of $539, among the highest in the nation and well above the threshold for 'class A' mall properties. [7]

On April 18, 2008, Nordstrom opened to the public, making it the second department store to open at this mall. [8]

On January 31, 2013, Parisian became Carson's. [9]

The state's first L.L.Bean opened in the center court in August 2016. [10]

The dawn of the early 2020s saw several storied traditional department store retailers update its brick-and-mortar formats after being encroached upon to a degree by several digital retailers in recent years.

On April 17, 2018, Carson's announced that it would be shuttering after it wasn't able to establish any new conditions to satisfy its established long-term debt. [11] On July 19, 2023, it was announced that the health club leader Powerhouse Gym would begin reconstructing the previous Carson's outpost. [12]

In June 2019, it was announced that Nordstrom had decided against extending its lease again after previously determining the high capacity of additional outposts nearby. [13]

By 2023, since the government lockdown, The Mall at Partridge Creek had announced several newest additions, among them are Versona, Evereve, Cato, Buckle, Lovisa, JD Sports, and BoxLunch.

About the mall

The mall features around 90 shops and restaurants. [2] Tenants of the mall include L.L.Bean, [14] Eddie Bauer, Apple Store, Starbucks, and Forever 21. [15] The mall features a 14-screen MJR movie theater; a snow-melt system on the sidewalks; an outdoor play area.

The mall (and most of the stores) is billed as dog friendly, and the mall itself maintains a dog/owner code of conduct and a list of dog friendly stores. [16] It joins at least 38 other pet friendly malls in the United States. [17]

In September 2006, Belk purchased Parisian from Saks for $285 million with twenty-four locations later becoming Belk by September 2007. Parisian was quickly sold once more in October 2006 to The Bon-Ton with stores operating in Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio. Parisian operated individually under its own separate division up until 2013 when the exclusive rights to operate Parisian had expired, marking the end of this upmarket department store.

Northland Center was a shopping mall on an approximately 159-acre (64 ha) site located near the intersection of M-10 and Greenfield Road in Southfield, Michigan, an inner-ring suburb of Detroit, Michigan, United States. Construction began in 1952 and the mall opened on March 22, 1954. Northland was a milestone for regional shopping centers in the United States. Livonia Marketplace is an open-air shopping mall in the Detroit suburb of Livonia, Michigan. Opened in 2010, the center is anchored by Kohl's and Walmart. It occupies the site of the former Livonia Mall, which was an enclosed mall built in 1964. Livonia Mall lost the majority of its tenants in the 2000s, including its previous anchor stores of Crowley's, Sears, Mervyns, and Children's Palace.
