Brighton Mall is a shopping mall located in Brighton, Michigan, United States. Opened in 1971 as an enclosed shopping mall, the center was re-developed in 1996 as a power centre, retaining the name Brighton Mall. Anchor stores for the property are Marshalls, Michaels, Aldi, PetSmart, Jo-Ann Etc., Best Buy, and Gardner-White Furniture.
Brighton Mall opened in November 1971 as a small enclosed mall, with The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company (A&P) supermarket, a W.T. Grant department store, a Perry Drug Stores pharmacy, and approximately twenty-five inline tenants. [1] One year later, a movie theater opened behind the mall. [2] After W. T. Grant filed for bankruptcy in 1975, many of their stores were sold to Kmart in 1976. Kmart had originally wanted to build a store in Brighton prior to acquiring the former W. T. Grant location, but did not do so at the time due to concerns over the area's economy. [3]
In late 1993, plans were announced to begin converting the mall to a strip mall. Under these plans, the enclosed section of the mall would be converted to larger retail spaces that faced Grand River Avenue, while the Kmart would be retained. The few remaining tenants in the mall at the time, including an Ace Hardware, a beauty salon, and an ice cream shop, would be relocated to an annex next to the mall. [4] In 1995, in completion of this conversion, A&P demolished its existing store at the mall and built a larger Farmer Jack supermarket on the site. [5]
The mall's movie theater complex, by then part of the MJR Theatres chain, relocated across the street to a new 16-screen (since expanded to 20 screens) facility in 2002, and the old theaters were replaced with Best Buy and PetSmart. Marshalls replaced Farmer Jack, which closed in 2004. In 2006, Kmart was converted to Sears Essentials. This store closed in 2012. [6] That space has since been divided between Gardner-White Furniture, Michaels, Aldi, and Aspen Dental.
The week of July 26, 2014, Halo Burger opened it seventeenth location at the Mall next to YoFresh Yogurt Cafe, which is also new. [7]

Camp Landing Entertainment District is an enclosed shopping mall located outside the city of Ashland, Kentucky, United States, in Cannonsburg. Opened in 1988 as Cedar Knoll Galleria, the mall struggled to keep tenants for several years, eventually becoming a dead mall. Starting in 2005, the mall was renamed Kyova Mall and redevelopment began on the property. Customer traffic had increased, until further store closings, including two anchor tenants, Sears and Elder-Beerman, and the COVID-19 pandemic forced the mall to close. On July 16, 2021, it was announced that the mall was sold by Eggleston Associates to Jason Camp, Glockner Family, and Boyd County and that a major redevelopment plan would start immediately, renaming the area to Camp Landing Entertainment District. As of 2023, current anchors include the Sandy's Racing & Gaming casino, indoor amusement center Malibu Jack's, The Cinema at Camp Landing, and Rural King, with other major tenants including restaurants Smokin' J's, Backyard Pizza, Tap That Sports, and Burger King.
The Shoppes at South Hills, formerly South Hills Mall, was a shopping mall on U.S. 9, now converted into a strip mall, in the town of Poughkeepsie, New York. The 675,000 ft² plaza opened in 1974 and included two anchors, Sears and Kmart, at opposite ends of the mall. Currently, The Shoppes at South Hills are owned and operated by DLC Management Corporation.
Fort Saginaw Mall was an enclosed shopping mall located in Buena Vista Township, just outside the city of Saginaw, Michigan, United States. Opened in 1966, the mall served as Saginaw's only enclosed mall until Fashion Square Mall opened on the other end of town in 1972. Fort Saginaw Mall had become a dead mall by the 1980s, as many of its stores had closed. By the end of the 1990s, the entire mall was closed off, except for an attached Kmart which remained open until May 2004.

Livonia Marketplace is an open-air shopping mall in the Detroit suburb of Livonia, Michigan. Opened in 2010, the center is anchored by Kohl's and Walmart. It occupies the site of the former Livonia Mall, which was an enclosed mall built in 1964. Livonia Mall lost the majority of its tenants in the 2000s, including its previous anchor stores of Crowley's, Sears, Mervyns, and Children's Palace. The mall was closed in May 2008, with only the Sears remaining from the original property. Sears closed in April 2020.
Wonderland Village is an outdoor shopping center in Livonia, Michigan, United States, a suburb of Detroit. The center is located at the southwest corner of Middlebelt Road and Plymouth Road, approximately one mile south of I-96. Opened in 1959 as the outdoor Wonderland Center, it originally featured Montgomery Ward and Federal's as its major anchor stores. A 1980s renovation enclosed the formerly open-air complex and renamed it Wonderland Mall, by which point the anchor stores were Montgomery Ward, Service Merchandise, and Target. This configuration lasted throughout the late 1990s, by which point the closure of both Service Merchandise and Montgomery Ward had led to a number of vacancies. The center reopened officially in 2007.

Richland Town Center is a power center in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, United States. It is located on U.S. Route 219 at Elton Road and Theatre Drive. The center opened in 2004 on the site of the former Richland Mall. Existing from 1974 to 1998, Richland Mall was an enclosed shopping mall whose anchor stores were Sears, Kmart, and Penn Traffic; Sears later became Hills and then Ames, while Penn Traffic later became Hess's and then The Bon-Ton. Richland Mall was shuttered in 1998 after losing business to The Johnstown Galleria which opened in 1992. Richland Mall was then torn down and redeveloped as a strip mall, which features Walmart, TJ Maxx/HomeGoods, Best Buy, and Ulta as its anchor stores.
