Oakland Mall is an enclosed super-regional shopping mall located in the city of Troy, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit. It is located in the northwest corner of the intersection of 14 Mile and John R. roads, adjacent to Interstate 75 (Chrysler Freeway). The mall features 116 stores, including a food court, plus several big-box stores on the periphery. The mall has 1,500,000 square feet (140,000 m2). [2] The anchor stores are Macy's, JCPenney, Dick's Sporting Goods, At Home, and Hobby Lobby.
The first store to open at the site of the Oakland Mall was Sears, which opened in 1965. In 1968, the mall itself opened, featuring Hudson's as another anchor. [3] Also included was an S. S. Kresge dime store. [4] In 1979 an expansion added a two-story wing anchored by JCPenney. [5]
Borders Books & Music opened in 1999. The store, formerly a Winkleman's clothing store, was the first Borders to be located in a mall in Michigan. [6] The movie theaters were closed in 2000 and were later converted to Steve & Barry's, which itself closed in early 2009. Hudson's was converted to Marshall Field's in 2001. In 2004, Lord & Taylor was proposed to become the mall's fourth department store; [7] however, the store never materialized. [8] September 2006 saw the conversion of Marshall Field's (and other May Co. nameplates) to the Macy's name. Borders closed in 2011 due to the chain's bankruptcy. In 2013, Forever 21 moved from its existing location in the Sears wing to the former Borders. In late 2014, the Gibraltar Furniture and Rug store in the former Steve & Barry's closed. In this area a new Dick's Sporting Goods was moved from the across the street shopping center to the mall, which opened in fall 2015. H&M opened a 20,000 square ft. store in the Macy's wing. Field & Stream opened northwest of JCPenney in March 2015. In 2016, the mall was taken over by CBRE.
In 2015, Sears Holdings spun 235 of its properties, including the Sears at Oakland Mall, into Seritage Growth Properties. [9] Krispy Kreme and LongHorn Steakhouse are also outparcels on the Seritage site. In 2017, in an effort similar to Macomb Mall's Sears, Oakland Mall split off a section of its Sears to become an At Home. On June 28, 2018, Sears announced that its Oakland Mall location would be closing as part of a plan to close 78 stores nationwide. The store closed on September 2, 2018. [10] In 2022, the remaining portion of the former Sears store became Hobby Lobby which opened on December 26, 2022. [11]
In October 2019, Dick's Sporting Goods sold the Field & Stream to Sportsman's Warehouse. [12] In 2020, Oakland Mall was acquired by CenterCal Properties, before being sold again in March 2022 to Mario Kiezi, who announced plans to renovate the mall. [13]
The Mall of New Hampshire is a shopping mall located in the Lower South Willow neighborhood of Manchester, New Hampshire. Its major anchoring stores are Macy's, Old Navy, JCPenney, Dick's Sporting Goods, Best Buy, and Dave & Buster's. The mall has 125 stores as well as a large food court and is 798,881 square feet (74,218.5 m2), making it the third largest mall in New Hampshire after the Mall at Rockingham Park in Salem, and the Pheasant Lane Mall in Nashua, which opened in 1991 and 1986, respectively. This was the first large-scale shopping mall in New Hampshire; initial construction of the mall was completed in August 1977, though it has since been dramatically expanded.
Pheasant Lane Mall, occupying 979,427 square feet (90,992 m2), is one of the largest shopping malls in the state of New Hampshire and the focal point of the commercial area in south Nashua.
Lakeside Mall is a Taubman-built super-regional full-line shopping mall. The mall is located in the northeastern Metro Detroit suburb of Sterling Heights, Michigan. Lakeside Mall is located on M-59 between Hayes and Schoenherr Roads. The mall features Macy's and JCPenney, with two vacant anchor stores previously Lord and Taylor and Sears. The mall is on two levels, and features a food court. Lakeside Mall is the largest mall in the state of Michigan.
Southridge Mall is a regional shopping mall located in the Milwaukee County suburbs of Greendale and Greenfield, Wisconsin. At 1,177,783 square feet it is Wisconsin's second largest mall behind Mayfair Mall in Wauwatosa, tied with Fox River Mall in Appleton. The mall's anchor stores are TJ Maxx, Dick's Sporting Goods, Golf Galaxy, Macy's, JCPenney, and Round 1 Entertainment. There are 2 vacant anchor stores that were once Boston Store and Kohl's. Sears closed in September 2017, Kohl's relocated to a mixed use development on September 29, 2018, and Boston Store closed in Summer 2018 as parent company Bon-Ton went out of business. The former Sears was replaced by Dick's Sporting Goods, Golf Galaxy, Round 1 Entertainment, and TJ Maxx.

It was the largest shopping mall in Georgia when it opened on August 8, 1973. Southlake Mall is a shopping mall in Hobart, Indiana that is marketed as being in Merrillville, Indiana, due primarily to being served by the 46410 postal Zip Code. The tract of land on which it sits was annexed by the city of Hobart from unincorporated Ross Township in 1993. It lies in the Chicago metropolitan area. Southlake Mall is the only enclosed super regional mall in Northwest Indiana, as well as one of largest in the state overall along with Castleton Square in Indianapolis and Glenbrook Square in Fort Wayne. The mall's anchor stores are Kohl's, JCPenney, Macy's, H&M, and Forever 21. There are three vacant anchors stores that were once Dick's Sporting Goods, Carson Pirie Scott, and Sears. The Macy's store was an L. S. Ayres store prior to September 9, 2006. The mall first opened with only two anchor stores – JCPenney and Sears – and the north and south anchor wings were added later. The former Carson's had housed the cafeteria-style "The Garden Restaurant" by the entrance near the security garage on the south side of the mall from 1975 to 1989.

Parkdale Mall is a mall located in Beaumont, Texas that opened in 1973. The owner of Parkdale Mall is CBL & Associates Properties, Inc. The mall's anchor stores include a Dick's Sporting Goods and Field & Stream combo Store, Dillard's, Five Below, Forever 21, HomeGoods, and JCPenney. Another anchor, Macy's, closed in March 2017. The former Macy's became a combination between the Dick's Sporting Goods and Field & Stream combo store, HomeGoods, and Five Below. KBTV-TV, the Beaumont-Port Arthur Fox affiliate, used to broadcast inside the mall, but now broadcasts at the KFDM studios. In addition, a Tilt Studio location opened in early 2017. Former anchors, Stage and Sears both closed in 2020. The Stage closed due to bankruptcy, and the Sears due to company downsizing.

It is one of three enclosed malls in the immediate Harrisburg area, and is the only enclosed mall in Harrisburg's western suburbs. The mall is owned and operated by the Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust (PREIT).

In 2004, Several stores and restaurants were added that could be accessed from outside the mall including Qdoba, Applebee's, Noodle's and Company, and Border's. The anchor stores are Macy's, Dillard's, and JCPenney.
Tyrone Square is an enclosed shopping mall in St. Petersburg, Florida. Opened in 1972, it features Dick's Sporting Goods, Dillard's, Five Below, J. C. Penney, Macy's and PetSmart as its anchor stores.
