Differences with SimTower
In The Tower SP, perhaps due to the limitations of the Game Boy Advance's system, the "Tower" status (the highest available tower rating) is obtained with a population of 2,000 people; a goal which is quite hard considering the height limit for the building is 50 floors(35 floors for the commercial tower) and a certain foundation width. The width is slowly expanded as Yama gets deregulation for the roads and buildings surrounding the player's Tower. However, reaching that population is not enough. The "Tower" status is only awarded when a wedding takes place in the building, which only occurs when a cathedral is constructed at the maximum height, the cathedral can be reached without any stress, the cathedral is full, and when there are 2,000 people in the building at that moment.
Achieving a "Tower" status with the Office Building unlocks the possibility of building a "Commercial Building". The site permits construction of a higher lobby at the ground floor, but doesn't permit the construction of building offices, condominiums, medical centers, security offices, nor recycling centers, allows up to 3 cinemas in the building (whereas the Office Building only allowed one), as well as a spa with water from a hot spring and hotel suites (once the appropriate star rating is reached). As such, building built in this mode may resemble a mall-hotel hybrid, depending on the player's design.
Other features are taken from Yoot Tower , while some are new. Restrooms must be built; security must check the player's tower nightly; housekeeping cleans offices weekly, and cockroach infestation now has three phases: one (which requires a bug bomb), two (which requires a costly exterminator), and three (which condemns the infested facility). Like Yoot Tower, the player must use different shops and stores to satisfy tenants and visitors.

SimTower: The Vertical Empire is a construction and management simulation video game developed by OpenBook Co., Ltd. and published by Maxis for the Microsoft Windows and Macintosh System 7 operating systems in November 1994. In Japan, it was published by OpenBook that same year and was later released for the Sega Saturn and 3DO in 1996. The game allows players to build and manage a tower and decide what facilities to place in it, in order to ultimately build a five-star tower. Random events take place during play, such as terrorist acts that the player must respond to immediately.
The Urbz: Sims in the City is a video game that was released in 2004 for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, Nintendo GameCube, Game Boy Advance, and Nintendo DS as a launch title for that system. It is the third Sims game for these consoles and is the second Sims game to be unreleased on Windows PC. The next release for consoles and handhelds was the console port of The Sims 2.
1000 de la Gauchetière is a skyscraper in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is named for its address at 1000 De la Gauchetière Street West in the city's downtown core. It is Montreal's tallest building. It rises to the maximum height approved by the city at 205 m and 51 floors. A popular feature of the building is its atrium, which holds a large ice skating rink.
The Sims Bustin' Out is a video game that was released in 2004/2003 for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, Nintendo GameCube, Game Boy Advance, & N-Gage. It is the second title in The Sims console series and the first The Sims title not released on Windows PC. It featured the same 3D environment and engine the past game did, however adds several features from The Sims expansion packs: The Sims: Hot Date, The Sims: Superstar, and The Sims: Livin' Large. As the title suggests, the sims can get out of the house to visit other locations such as Shiny Things Lab or Casa Caliente. There are two modes. Bust Out Mode, which has mission-based gameplay and Freeplay Mode, which is open-ended gameplay very much like the original The Sims PC game. The PlayStation 2 version once featured the option to play online. However, it was shut down on August 1, 2008.
Yutaka "Yoot" Saito is a Japanese video game designer. In 1996, he founded the video game development company Vivarium. His latest game is Aero Porter, which is part of a collection of games called Guild01 for the Nintendo 3DS. In the Americas, Europe, and Australia, Aero Porter was released as a standalone game on the Nintendo eShop. Yoot also developed Odama for the Nintendo GameCube and Seaman 2.
The KPMG Tower, formerly Maison des Coopérants or Place de la Cathédrale, is a 34-storey skyscraper in downtown Montreal that was completed in 1987. It is at 600 de Maisonneuve Ouest and has an official height of 146 m (479 ft). The building is owned and operated by BentallGreenOak.
Yoot Tower is a 1998 construction and management simulation computer game. It may be considered the spiritual successor to the 1994 game SimTower.
Vivarium Inc. is a Japanese video game developer founded in 1996 by company president Yoot Saito. It is famous for designing innovative video games which use voice recognition technology. Seaman for the Dreamcast is their most famous game to date. Odama, for the GameCube was also developed by Vivarium.
One Bayfront Plaza (New) is a proposed supertall skyscraper approved for construction in the U.S. city of Miami, Florida. If completed, the building would stand at 1,049 feet (320 m), with 93 floors, becoming the tallest building in Miami and Florida. One Bayfront Plaza would primarily consist of offices and hotel space, but also would include a retail mall, condominiums, and parking garage on the lower levels, as well as possibly an observation deck at the top. The entire project consists of over 1,400,000 square feet (100,000 m2) of Class A office and hotel space, as well as a total building area of over 4,000,000 square feet (371,612 m2) including the large podium. One Bayfront Plaza is the first skyscraper over 1,000 feet (305 m) to be approved for construction in Miami. The building's primary advocate is real estate developer Tibor Hollo, who has won several awards for his 55 years as a developer in Miami, and is currently the president of Florida East Coast Realty.

The Shanghai Tower is a 632-metre (2,073 ft), 128-story megatall skyscraper in Lujiazui, Pudong, Shanghai. It shares the record of having the world's highest observation deck within a building or structure at 562 m, and the world's second-fastest elevators at a top speed of 20.5 metres per second. It is the world's second-tallest building by height to architectural top. However, the title of the world's fastest elevator now belongs to the Guangzhou CTF Finance Centre, with a top speed of 21 metres per second achieved in 2017. Designed by international design firm Gensler and owned by the Shanghai city government, it is the tallest of the world's first triple-adjacent supertall buildings in Pudong, the other two being the Jin Mao Tower and the Shanghai World Financial Centre. Its tiered construction, designed for high energy efficiency, provides nine separate zones divided between office, retail and leisure use.

The Guangzhou Chow Tai Fook Finance Centre is a 1,739-foot (530 m) tall mixed-use skyscraper in Guangzhou, Guangdong, which was completed in October 2016. It is the tallest completed building in Guangzhou, the third-tallest in China, and the seventh-tallest in the world. The Guangzhou CTF Finance Centre has a total of 111 above ground and five below ground floors and houses a shopping mall, offices, apartments, and a hotel. The skyscraper has a gross floor area of 5,464,633 square feet (507,681.0 m2), of which a little over 20% is not part of the skyscraper itself, but of the podium connected to it.
Edificio Miguel E Abed, located on Eje Central Lázaro Cárdenas #13 in the Historic Center of Mexico City, opposite the Torre Latinoamericana. It was built by Mexican-Lebanese businessman Miguel E. Abed who was also one of the founders of the Centro Libanes in Mexico City along with former president Miguel Avila Camacho. The building is equipped with three high-speed elevators (lifts) which move at 6.0 meters per second. In the building are offices of various companies, that are installed since the early 1960s. In 1952, the building exceeded the Tower Anahuac for four years, to become the tallest building in Mexico until 1956 - the year in which construction was completed on the tallest building in Latin America for its time, the Torre Latinoamericana.
Dalian Greenland Center is a skyscraper under construction in Dalian, Liaoning, China. It is expected to have 88 floors and be 518 m tall. The anticipated completion date is 2019. When built, Dalian Greenland Center will become the tallest building in Dalian.
Discovery Offices is a 50-storey, 205-metre-tall (673 ft) office skyscraper located on the land previously owned by Nirmal Lifestyles Mall, which is a shopping mall in Mulund, Mumbai, India and is situated on L.B.S Marg and Mulund-Goregaon Link Road Crossing Square near the Nirmal Lifestyles Mall. It is one of the first supertall buildings in India to achieve a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum rating for environmental sustainability from Green Building Council. It is a 50-floor skyscraper used for commercial offices and is being built by Nirmal Construction Pvt Ltd. The architect and structural engineering company creating Discovery Offices is the Indian architecture firm Hafeez Contractor. Nirmal Construction Pvt Ltd has made a contract with Discovery Communications to construct one of India's first supertall skyscrapers to achieve a LEED Platinum rating for environmental sustainability. It will become one of the tallest office buildings in India if completed on schedule.
