Tikari Assembly constituency is an assembly constituency for Bihar Legislative Assembly (Bihar Vidhansabha) in Gaya district of Bihar, India. It comes under Aurangabad (Bihar Lok Sabha constituency). [1] [2] This assembly was established in 2010 and before this assembly was named Konch Assembly constituency.

Sahdeo Prasad Yadav was an Indian politician and a member of Bihar Legislative Assembly of India. He represented the Kurtha constituency in Arwal district of Bihar. He had been a Mukhiya of Chitaukhar-Jalalpur Panchayat for almost 25 years. First he became an MLA in 1980 while being in Lok Dal party. He was elected in 1995 as a member of Janata Dal. Yadav started his political career in 1957 as an Independent candidate from Tikari constituency but lost. Later this constituency named as Konch, now again becomes Tikari constituency from 2010 onwards. He also fought from here as a candidate of Indian National Congress in 1967 but lost to U. N. Verma of Samyukta Socialist Party and in 1969 lost to Ram Balav Saran Singh.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Abhay Kushwaha</span> Political leader

Abhay Kushwaha alias Abhay Kumar Sinha is a former Member of Legislative Assembly for Tikari in the Gaya district of Bihar. He is a member of Janata Dal (United); he won the 2015 Legislative Assembly election to the Tekari constituency by defeating Anil Kumar of Hindustani Awam Morcha, a political party headed by erstwhile member of Janata Dal (United), Jitan Ram Manjhi. In the 2015 election he defeated Anil Kumar, who joined Hindustani Awami Morcha leaving his former party Janata Dal (United) by a huge margin of votes. While Abhay secured 86975 votes, Anil managed to get 55162 votes only.
