David Pretrell [1] "Trell" Kimmons (born July 13, 1985) is an American sprinter.
At the 2004 World Junior Championships in Athletics, Kimmons was part of a Gold medal winning 4×100 meters relay squad that established a junior world record with 38.66 seconds. Kimmons attended Hinds Community College, where he won three individual national championships (200 m outdoor in 2005, 60 m and 200 m indoor in 2006) and set national championship indoor meet records at 60 m and 200 m. He committed to Mississippi State University in November 2005, but chose to turn pro in March 2006. [2] [3]
Kimmons finished fourth in the 60 meters at the 2010 IAAF World Indoor Championships with 6.59 seconds. At the 2010 USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, he won a silver medal behind Walter Dix. At the 2010 Weltklasse Zürich meeting, he ran a new personal best of 9.95 seconds over 100 metres, [4] becoming the 72nd person to break the 10-second barrier.
Kimmons finished second at the 2014 USA Indoor Track and Field Championships in the 60 metres and thus qualified for the 2014 IAAF World Indoor Championships. [5] [6]
Also a football player in high school, Kimmons caught 13 touchdown passes and made four interceptions during his senior year. [7] He was rated a two-star recruit by Scout.com.
Darvis "Doc" Darell Patton is a retired American track and field athlete who competed in sprinting events. He is a two-time US Champion in the 200-meter dash and won the silver medal in the event at the 2003 World Championships. He is a three-time Olympian and a four-time participant at the World Athletics Championships.
David Oliver, is the Director of Track & Field at Howard University and a retired American hurdling athlete. As a professional athlete, he competed in the 110 meter hurdles event outdoor and the 60 meter hurdles event indoors. He is the former 110 meter hurdles champion winning the gold medal at the World Championships in Moscow in 2013 with a time of 13 seconds. He won the bronze medal in the 2008 Olympic Games and won another bronze at the 2010 IAAF World Indoor Championships.

He is the sixth-fastest 200-meter runner ever with a best of 19.53 seconds, and has broken the 10-second barrier in the 100 meters, with a best of 9.88 (9.80w) seconds. He was the only track athlete from USA to win 2 individual Olympic medals in Beijing.
Carmelita Jeter is a retired American sprinter, who competed in the 60 metres, 100 m and 200 m. For over a decade, between 2009 and 2021, Jeter held the title as "Fastest woman alive" after running a 100 m personal best of 10.64 seconds at the 2009 Shanghai Golden Grand Prix. In the 100 m, she was the 2011 world champion and the 2012 silver medalist. She is also a three-time Olympic medallist.
Michael Rodgers is an American professional track and field sprinter who specializes in the 100 m and the 60 m. He won the gold medal in the 100m relay in Doha 2019. He is also the Pan-Am Games Champion.
Ivory Williams is an American sprint athlete who specializes in the 100 meters.
Marvin Bracy-Williams is an American sprinter, and a former American football wide receiver. He played college football for the Florida State Seminoles, and quit just prior to their 2013 national championship season to pursue a professional career in track. He holds personal bests of 9.85s in the 100 m and 6.44 s in the 60 m, which he set in 2022 at the 2022 World Athletics Indoor Championships in Belgrade, Serbia. He won three straight U.S. National Championships at 60 meters in 2014–16. In July 2016, Bracy came in third in the 100 meters at the U.S. Olympic Trials qualifying for the 2016 Summer Olympics.
D'Angelo Cherry was an American sprinter, who specializes in the 60, 100 and 200 meters. He graduated from Mississippi State University in December 2012. Cherry was recruited by Steve Dudley in Jonesboro, Georgia in 2008.
Maurice Mitchell is an American track and field sprinter who specializes in the 200-meter dash. He has a personal record of 20.13 seconds in that event and has bests of 6.55 seconds for the 60-meter dash and 10 seconds for the 100-meter dash. He represented the United States in the relay at the 2011 World Championships and was selected to compete at the 2012 London Olympics.

Noah Lyles is an American professional track and field sprinter competing in the 100 meters and 200 meters. He is the 2020 Tokyo Olympic 200 m bronze medalist and a six-time World champion, having won the 200 m and 4 x 100 m at the 2019 World Championships, the 200 m at the 2022 World Championships, and the 100 m, 200 m, and 4 x 100 m events at the 2023 World Championships, becoming the first man since Usain Bolt in 2015 to complete the sprint treble at a World Championships. Suziann Reid is an American-Jamaican former track and field sprinter who specialized in the 400-meter dash. She set a personal record of 50.74 seconds for the distance in 1999.
