Trevesia palmata is a mesocaul tree up to twenty feet (six meters) in height. It is in the Gensing, or Ivy Family (Araliaceae) that is found in Southeast Asia, [1] India and southern China Common name: Snowflake tree [2] The leaves are very unusual: There is a central leaflet to which as many as nine peripheral leaflets are attached. These leaflets may be lobed to various degrees, each attached to the central leaflet by a petiolule. [3] [4]
