Efeler Ligi, known for sponsorship reasons as AXA Sigorta Efeler Ligi, is the highest professional men's volleyball league in Turkey. It is run by the Turkish Volleyball Federation. Founded in 1970, the league is considered one of the top national leagues in European volleyball, as its clubs have made significant success in European competitions.
The league succeeded the former Turkish Volleyball Championship, which was held from 1948 to 1970.

The Basketball Super League, also known as the Türkiye Sigorta Basketbol Süper Ligi for sponsorship reasons, is the top men's professional basketball division of the Turkish basketball league system. It replaced the former Turkish Basketball Championship (1946–1967) to become the Turkish Basketball League (TBL) until 2015 when it adopted its current name while the TBL name became exclusive to the second-tier and third-tier divisions.
The Turkish Volleyball Federation (TVF) is the governing body of volleyball and beach volleyball in Turkey. Formed in 1958, it is based in Ankara. The TVF is a member of the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) and the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV). Federation's president is Mehmet Akif Ustundag since November 21, 2016.
Ali Peçen is a Turkish volleyball player. He is 192 cm and plays as libero. Since the start of the 2007 season, he has played for Fenerbahçe Men's Volleyball team and wears number 9. He is the team's vice-captain. He has also played for Eczacıbaşı, Halkbank, Netaş and Erdemir.

Sultanlar Ligi, known for sponsorship reasons as Vodafone Sultanlar Ligi, is the highest professional women's volleyball league in Turkey. It is run by the Turkish Volleyball Federation and began with the 1984–85 season. 14 clubs are currently participating in the league. It is often regarded as the best professional women's volleyball league in the world. Its clubs have obtained significant successes in European and other international competitions. Eczacıbaşı are the most successful club, having won 16 championships so far.
Turkish Handball Super League is the highest league in the Turkish handball and comprises the top 12 elite men teams. The league began in 1982–83.
Hüseyin Koç is a Turkish volleyball player. He is 1.97 m tall and plays in the setter position. In 2012–13 season, he was a member of Halkbank Ankara. After playing in for Galatasaray, he has retired from volleyball. Now having his volleyball ball academy called sas voleyball academy in Bursa, Turkey.
