The Finland Volleyball League (Finnish : Lentopallon Mestaruusliiga) is highest level of men's volleyball in Finland. There are 10 teams in the league.
The Finland Volleyball League has founded 1994. Before then, teams play league in the Champion League. In 2010, the league changed its name to Mestaruusliiga.
Each team plays each other team in the league four times —two games at home and one away. At the conclusion of the regular season, the teams ranked from 1–8 play in a playoff to determine the league champion.
The FIVB Volleyball World League was an annual international men's volleyball competition. Created in 1990, it was the longest and richest of all the international events organized by the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB). The women's version of the competition was called FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix. This event should not be confused with the other international volleyball competitions, the World Championship, the World Cup and the World Grand Champions Cup.
Tuomas Petteri Sammelvuo is a Finnish professional volleyball coach and former player. He serves as head coach for the Canada national team and the Polish PlusLiga team, Asseco Resovia.
Olli-Pekka "Lelu" Ojansivu is a retired Finnish professional volleyball player who was a member of the Finland men's national volleyball team.
Olli Kunnari is a Finnish volleyball player. He is currently one of the key players in the Finnish national volleyball team. During the early years of his career, he played in the Finnish Champion league. In year 2004, he left Finland to play in the French Pro-A Volleyball league where he played until the season of 2009. Olli played the 2009 season in the Polish league. His current team Olympiacos SC, the volleyball team of the Greek sports club Olympiacos.
Mikko Esko is a Finnish volleyball player, a member of Finland men's national volleyball team and Finnish club Vammalan Lentopallo.
Matti Tapio Oivanen is a Finnish volleyball player, a member of Finland men's national volleyball team and Finnish club Hurrikaani Loimaa. His twin brother is Mikko Oivanen also volleyball player.
Antti Siltala is a Finnish professional volleyball player who has played in Greek, Turkish and Polish leagues. He also plays for the Finland men's national team.
Team Lakkapää is a professional volleyball team from Rovaniemi, Finland. The team played three seasons in Finland volleyball league, the country's highest level. They won two league championships in 2007 and 2008.
Raision Loimu is volleyball team from Finland, based in the city of Raisio. The team has played volleyball in Finland's highest level since 1977. During these years Loimu has won six championships, two silver and six bronze medals. The team won the Finland Cup in 2004.
Jukka Lehtonen is a professional volleyball player from Finland who joins GFCO Ajaccio in French Ligue A for season 2010–2011. He is also the captain of Finland men's national volleyball team.
Ilta-Sanomat Player of the Year Award is an annual award given by the Finnish evening paper Ilta-Sanomat for the best individual players of Finnish top leagues in ice hockey (SM-liiga), basketball (Korisliiga), volleyball (Mestaruusliiga) and floorball (Salibandyliiga). Due to sponsorship reasons the award has not been given in football Veikkausliiga since 2009.

Kokkolan Tiikerit is a Finnish volleyball team in the 'Mestaruusliiga'. The team's hometown is Kokkola, Finland. Tiikerit were the Finnish champions in 2013, 2015 and 2016 and in addition, won the Finnish Cup in 2014, 2015, and 2016.
Tommi Tiilikainen is a Finnish volleyball coach and former volleyball player. Despite his young age, he is regarded by a number of players, coaches, and commentators as one of the greatest and most successful managers in Finnish volleyball. In 2016 Tiilikainen won his third Finnish volleyball league championships and led club Tiikerit to the third Finnish Cup gold.

Kisiel started his professional career in 2021 with Dutch club, VC Limac. For the 2022–2023 season, he joined Finnish club, Savo Volley.He currently plays for The Begin Volley Ancona in Italy.
Jenna Rosenthal is an American professional volleyball player who plays as a middle blocker for the Columbus Fury of the Pro Volleyball Federation. She has played for the U.S. national team. Professionally, she has played in Finland, Germany, and most recently in 2022, the United States. Collegiately, she played for Marquette University from 2014–2018.
