Two Vines is the third studio album by Australian electronic music duo Empire of the Sun. It was released on 28 October 2016 by Virgin EMI Records. The album features guest appearances from Fleetwood Mac's Lindsey Buckingham, Wendy Melvoin, Henry Hey, and Tim Lefebvre.
The duo started writing their third studio album after contributing music to the 2014 film Dumb and Dumber To . [2] The album was recorded in Hawaii and Los Angeles, and it was co-produced by Empire of the Sun and Peter Mayes alongside regular collaborator Jonathan Sloan. [3] In November 2015, lead singer Luke Steele noted that the album was "75 percent there". [2]
On 22 August 2016, it was announced that the album was titled Two Vines and would be released on 28 October. It features contributions from Fleetwood Mac singer-guitarist Lindsey Buckingham, Wendy Melvoin (from Prince's The Revolution band), and David Bowie collaborators Henry Hey and Tim Lefebvre. [3] Nick Littlemore explained the inspiration behind the title as "this image of a modern city overtaken by jungle". [4]
The album's lead single, "High and Low", was released on 24 August 2016. [3] This was shortly followed by the album's first promotional single, "Two Vines", which was released the following day. [5] "To Her Door" was released on 30 September 2016 as the album's second single. [6]

Tusk is the 12th studio album by British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac, released as a double album on 12 October 1979. It is considered more experimental than their previous albums: partly a consequence of Lindsey Buckingham's sparser songwriting arrangements and the influence of post-punk. The production costs were estimated to be over $1 million, making it the most expensive rock album recorded to that date.
Fleetwood Mac is the tenth studio album by British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac, released in July 1975 by Reprise Records. It was the band's second eponymous album, the first being their 1968 debut album. Among Fleetwood Mac fans, the album is often referred to as The White Album. This is the first Fleetwood Mac album to feature Lindsey Buckingham as guitarist and Stevie Nicks as vocalist, after Bob Welch departed the band in late 1974. The album was also the band's last to be released on the Reprise label until 1997's The Dance.
Mirage is the 13th studio album by British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac, released on 18 June, 1982. This studio effort's soft rock sound stood in stark contrast to its more experimental predecessor, 1979's Tusk. Mirage yielded several hit singles: "Hold Me", "Gypsy", "Love in Store", "Oh Diane", and "Can't Go Back".
Say You Will is the 17th studio album by British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac, released on 15 April 2003. It was the first Fleetwood Mac album since Kiln House in 1970 that did not include tracks written by vocalist/keyboardist Christine McVie, who had left the band in 1998. It was however the band's first studio album since Time was released in 1995. Members Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks shared keyboard duties for the album, though Christine McVie is featured on two songs which had been originally recorded for an unreleased Lindsey Buckingham solo album.
Tango in the Night is the fourteenth studio album by British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac. Released on 13 April 1987, it is the fifth and to date last studio album from the band's most successful line-up of Lindsey Buckingham, Mick Fleetwood, Christine McVie, John McVie and Stevie Nicks, as Buckingham would leave the band later that year.
Behind the Mask is the fifteenth studio album by British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac, released in 1990. It was the first album released by the band after the departure of guitarist Lindsey Buckingham. He was replaced by Billy Burnette and Rick Vito, both guitar players, singers and songwriters. Fleetwood Mac thus became a six-piece band with four singer/songwriters. The album was not as successful as its predecessor, Tango in the Night, nor did it spawn any big hit singles although "Save Me" made the US Top 40, while "Love Is Dangerous" and "Skies the Limit" enjoyed some airplay. "Save Me" and "Skies the Limit" were much more successful in Canada, where they both reached the Top 30. Though it barely reached the US Top 20, the album entered the UK Albums Chart at number 1 and achieved platinum status there. Following the album's release and subsequent world tour, bandmembers Stevie Nicks and Rick Vito left the band, though Nicks would rejoin in 1997.
Greatest Hits is a compilation album by British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac. It covers the period of the band's greatest commercial success, from the mid-1970s to the late-1980s. The album was released on 15 November 1988, by Warner Bros. Records.
"Gypsy" is a song by the rock group Fleetwood Mac. Written by Stevie Nicks around 1979, the earliest demo recordings were made in early 1980 with Tom Moncrieff for possible inclusion on her debut solo album Bella Donna. However, when Nicks' friend Robin Anderson died of leukemia, the song took on a new significance and Nicks held it over for Fleetwood Mac. "Gypsy" was the second single release and second biggest hit from the Mirage album, following "Hold Me", reaching a peak of number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100 for three weeks.
"Trouble" is a song written, composed and performed by Lindsey Buckingham and released as the lead single from his 1981 debut solo album Law and Order. The single was Buckingham's first hit as a solo artist, peaking at number nine in the US and number 31 in the UK, where it remained charted for seven weeks. It was most successful in Australia, where it topped the chart for three weeks and became the eighth biggest-selling single of 1982. It experienced similar levels of success in South Africa, reaching number one for two weeks and finishing 1982 as the country's 13th best-selling single.
Under the Skin is the fourth solo album by American musician and Fleetwood Mac vocalist/guitarist Lindsey Buckingham, released on October 3, 2006. The album, long delayed by Fleetwood Mac's reunion tour in the 1990s and 2003 album Say You Will, was his first solo release in 14 years. Under the Skin peaked at #80 on the Billboard 200 album chart in October 2006. "Show You How" was also released as a single but failed to chart.
"Big Love" is a song by Fleetwood Mac, that appeared on their 1987 album Tango in the Night. The song was the first single to be released from the album, reaching number 5 in the US, and number nine in the UK. The single was also a hit on the American dance charts, where the song peaked at number 7.
"Little Lies" is a song by British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac from their fourteenth studio album Tango in the Night (1987). Written by band member Christine McVie and her then-husband, Eddy Quintela, the lead vocals were performed primarily by McVie, although the chorus of the song featured brief solo passages by Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks. The song was released on 31 August 1987, by Warner Bros. Records, as the third single from Tango in the Night.
"Everywhere" is a song by British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac from their fourteenth studio album Tango in the Night (1987). It was written by Christine McVie, who also performs lead vocals on the song. Lindsey Buckingham and Richard Dashut produced it.
