The University of Florida is a public land-grant, sea-grant, and space-grant research university in Gainesville, Florida. It is a senior member of the State University System of Florida and traces its origins to 1853 and has operated continuously on its Gainesville campus since September 1906.

Norton Healthcare is one of Kentucky's health care systems with more than 40 clinics and hospitals in and around Louisville, Kentucky. UF Health Jacksonville is a teaching hospital and medical system of the University of Florida in Jacksonville, Florida, United States. Part of the larger University of Florida Health system, it includes the 603-bed UF Health Jacksonville hospital, the 92-bed UF Health North hospital, associated clinics, and is the Jacksonville campus of UF's Health Science Center. Cancer and Genetics Research Complex at the University of Florida is an interdisciplinary research center. The goal of this facility is to harness the faculty & researchers from varying departments at the University of Florida to make exciting new discoveries, and to transfer technology to the marketplace. The Complex also houses the UF Genetics Institute, the UF Health Cancer Center, the UF Interdisciplinary Center for Biotechnology Research, and the C.A. Pound Human Identification Laboratory, an internationally known laboratory for research and consulting in forensic anthropology.
Miami Valley Hospital South (MVHS) is a hospital in Centerville, Ohio. It is a branch of Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio and is managed by Premier Health. Designed and constructed in 2007 as an outpatient facility with an emergency department, the facility grew faster than expected and became a full service hospital with as office building for physicians and a five-story patient wing added between 2009 and 2013. As of 2013, the hospital is a 579,000-square-foot (53,800 m2) complex on a 115-acre (47 ha) campus adjacent to Interstate 675. It has 60 beds and features a number of specialty care options including oncology, cardiology, sports medicine, and maternity care to cater to the suburban community surrounding the hospital.

The college offers 34 accredited graduate medical education programs and 10 non-standard programs. In addition to graduate medical education, clinical rotations in all the major disciplines are provided for students from the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville.
