The WAFU Zone B Women's Cup is a women's association football competition contested by national teams of Zone B of the West African Football Union.

Contents

The first edition was played in 2018 with eight teams, which included some foreign-based players. [1]

Inaugural Tournament (2018)

Eight teams were drawn in two groups of four. WAFU Zone B member teams were Ivory Coast, Niger, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Nigeria and Benin. Mali (from Zone A) replaced Benin, who had withdrawn shortly before the tournament, and Senegal (from Zone A) were invited to make the numbers up to eight. [2] The tournament was won by Ghana. [3]

The 2018 WAFU Zone B U-20 Tournament is the first edition of the international Zone B U-20 men's football event for teams under the West African Football Union. The competition was hosted by Togo in December 2018 in One match venues. The organizers of the tournament, said it will run from 6-16 December 2018 which will feature eight teams were drawn in two groups of four. WAFU Zone B member teams were Ivory Coast, Niger, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Nigeria and Benin. Mali replaced Côte d'Ivoire, who had withdrawn before the tournament. Mali replaced Côte d'Ivoire, who had withdrawn before the tournament, and Senegal were invited to make the numbers up to eight. The tournament was won by Senegal.
