Widnes and Halewood is a constituency of the House of Commons in the UK Parliament. [2] Further to the completion of the 2023 Periodic Review of Westminster constituencies, it was first contested at the 2024 general election. [3] The Member of Parliament elected in 2024 is Derek Twigg of the Labour Party, who was formerly MP for Halton.

Warrington South is a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament by Sarah Hall from the Labour and Co-operative Party since 2024. Before then it was held since 2019 by Andy Carter, a Conservative Party politician.
The Metropolitan Borough of Knowsley is a metropolitan borough in Merseyside, North West England. It covers several towns and villages, including Kirkby, Prescot, Huyton, Whiston, Halewood, Cronton and Stockbridge Village; Kirkby, Huyton, and Prescot being the major commercial centres. It takes its name from the village of Knowsley, though its headquarters are in Huyton. It forms part of the wider Liverpool City Region.

The borough was created in 1974 and contains the towns of Runcorn and Widnes and the civil parishes of Daresbury, Hale, Halebank, Moore, Preston Brook, and Sandymoor.
