Willem Boutkan (born 14 May 1955) is a Dutch politician and former police officer representing the Party for Freedom (PVV) and until 2010 the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD).
Since 6 December 2023, he has been a member of the House of Representatives. Additionally, he is a municipal councillor of Almere and a member of the Provincial Council of Flevoland. [1]
Boutkan was born in The Hague on 14 May 1955. He studied metalworking at the lower technical school in Scheveningen from 1973 to 1977 before he went on to have several jobs as an officer at the police in Leidschendam, the National Police Corps, and the province of Flevoland. He subsequently worked as a researcher at the Transport Safety Board and the Safety Board. [1]
Boutkan was a municipal councillor of Almere from March 1998 until March 2006, representing the VVD. After he transitioned to the PVV, he was elected member of the Provincial Council of Flevoland in 2011 and of the municipal council of Almere in March 2014. [2] [3] [4]
At the 2023 House of Representatives elections, Boutkan was elected a member of the House of Representatives. His installation took place on 6 December 2023, and he became the PVV's spokesperson for aviation and environment. [5] [4] [6] He also continues to perform his functions as a municipal councillor and a member of the Provincial Council, which makes him a big earner in parliament. [7]

Martin Bosma is a Dutch politician and former journalist who has been serving as the Speaker of the House of Representatives since 14 December 2023. He entered the House of Representatives for the Party for Freedom (PVV) on 30 November 2006, and served as his party's spokesperson on matters of higher education, mass media and culture. He also served as Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives from 2010 until 2023. On 14 December 2023, he was elected Speaker of the House of Representatives.
Barry Madlener is a Dutch politician, who has served as Minister of Infrastructure and Water Management in the Schoof cabinet since July 2024. A member of the Party for Freedom (PVV), he was first elected to the House of Representatives in 2006. He became the PVV's leader in the European Parliament following the 2009 election. Madlener resigned from that position to again serve in the House of Representatives from the 2012 general election until 2024.

Leendert Arent-Willem de Lange is a Dutch politician. He has been mayor of Wassenaar since 18 July 2019. Previously he was a member of the House of Representatives for the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy, serving from 31 March 2015 to 23 March 2017 and once again from 31 October 2017 to 3 July 2019. De Lange was alderman in Noordwijk between 2006 and 2013 and in Wassenaar between 2013 and 2014 where he also served as deputy mayor.

Wybren Ridley van Haga is a Dutch politician and engineer who was a member of the House of Representatives between 2017 and 2023. He was initially elected as a member of the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD), but was expelled from the party in 2019, causing the third Rutte cabinet to lose its parliamentary majority. Leonie Vestering is a Dutch politician of the Party for the Animals (PvdD). She campaigned against circus animals, and she was a member of the States of Flevoland and the Almere municipal council. Vestering was elected to the House of Representatives in 2021 and resigned in September 2023 in response to a conflict within her party.
