You and I is a compilation album by Jeff Buckley, released on March 11, 2016, on Legacy Recordings. [1] The songs were recorded in 1993 and represent some of his earliest recordings for Columbia. [2] The album consists mainly of cover songs.
The sessions for the album took place in February 1993 and were designed to produce what A&R rep Steve Berkowitz referred to as a "Table of Contents" for the singer. [2] The 2016 release of the album marks the first time these session recordings have been made available to the public. [3] According to his mother, Buckley was insecure about the sessions, leading him to make several calls to her during the middle of the night about fears of being fired. [3]
In addition to several cover songs the album also features two original Buckley compositions; an early demo of "Grace" which would later appear on Buckley's debut album of the same name and "Dream of You and I". Album producer Steve Addabbo had opined that, at that stage of his career, Buckley may have been so adept at covers that he had difficulty coming up with his own material. [3]
More material from these February 1993 sessions was later featured on the LP "In Transition" released on Record Store Day 2019.
The album debuted at No. 58 on the Billboard 200, [4] No. 5 on the Top Rock Albums and No. 1 on the Folk Albums charts, selling 9,000 copies on its first week of release. [5]

Shake Your Money Maker is the debut studio album by American rock band the Black Crowes, released on February 13, 1990, on Def American Recordings. It is the only album by the band to feature guitarist Jeff Cease. The album is named after a classic blues song written by Elmore James. The Black Crowes have played the song live many times over the years, but it is not included on this album.
Ten is the debut studio album by the American rock band Pearl Jam, released on August 27, 1991, through Epic Records. Following the dissolution of their previous band Mother Love Bone in 1990, bassist Jeff Ament and guitarist Stone Gossard began rehearsing with new guitarist Mike McCready. The group recorded a five-song instrumental demo tape that included contributions from Matt Cameron on drums. Copies of the demo were eventually given to drummer Dave Krusen and vocalist Eddie Vedder, both of whom were invited to audition for the band in Seattle. Many of the songs on Ten were instrumental jams or reworked Mother Love Bone songs for which Vedder provided lyrics.

It comprises recordings Buckley made while working on his second album, My Sweetheart the Drunk, with the producer Tom Verlaine in 1996 and 1997. Anthology 2 is a compilation album by the Beatles, released on 18 March 1996 by Apple Records as part of The Beatles Anthology series. It features rarities, outtakes and live performances from the 1965 sessions for Help! until the sessions immediately prior to their trip to India in February 1968. BBC Sessions is a compilation album featuring studio sessions and a live concert recorded by English rock group Led Zeppelin for the BBC. It was released on 17 November 1997, by Atlantic Records. Disc one consists of material from four different 1969 BBC sessions. Disc two contains most of the 1 April 1971 concert from the Paris Theatre in London. Disc three was only included in a limited run of album releases and features rare interviews from 1969, 1976/1977, and 1990.
