Youghiogheny Bank of Pennsylvania, also known as Old State Bank, is a historic bank building located at Perryopolis, Fayette County, Pennsylvania. It was built in about 1817, and is a one-story, square sandstone building. It measures 25 feet square and has a gable roof. A two-story, rear stone addition was added in about 1935. It was built as a bank and in use as such until 1819. Afterwards, it was used as a school, Methodist church, store, post office, pool room, fruit stand, restaurant, and medical office. It now houses a museum operated by the Perryopolis Area Heritage Society. [2]

It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1997. [1]

The Youghiogheny River, or the Yough for short, is a 134-mile-long (216 km) tributary of the Monongahela River in the U.S. states of West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. It drains an area on the west side of the Allegheny Mountains northward into Pennsylvania, providing a small watershed in extreme western Maryland into the tributaries of the Mississippi River. Youghiogheny is a Lenape word meaning "a stream flowing in a contrary direction".

W. W. Griest Building

The W.W. Griest Building, also known as the Lancaster Federal Building and PP and L Building, is a historic skyscraper located in the city of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. It was designed by noted Lancaster architect C. Emlen Urban and built 1924–1925. It is built in the Italian Renaissance Revival style and is a steel frame building faced in granite, limestone, and terra cotta. The Griest Building is fourteen stories tall and each floor measures 66 feet by 55 feet, or 3,600 square feet. The 12th floor, now office space, once housed a 300-seat auditorium with a green and gold frescoed ceiling. A 53 foot tall tower was added to the top of the building in 1976. The W.W. Griest Building is the second tallest building in the city of Lancaster.

It was built between 1912 and 1918, and is a 30 feet by 60 feet yellow brick building in the Byzantine Revival style. It has a cruciform plan and the gabled roof is topped by four onion domes. The church served a community of Rusyns who originally settled in the area prior to 1907.

Clear Spring Mill is a historic mill complex located at Franklin Township, York County, Pennsylvania. The complex includes the grist mill, sawmill, and corn crib. The grist mill was built in 1886, and is a 2 1/2-story, heavy timber frame building on a banked sandstone foundation. It has a gambrel roof and three interior levels. The sawmill was built about 1809, and is a one-story timber frame building on a foundation of banked stone, stone piers, and wood posts. It measures 12 feet deep by 40 feet wide, with a rear porch extension. The corncrib was built about 1930.

The district includes 32 contributing buildings, 2 contributing sites, and 17 contributing structures. The district includes the Manor House Demesne, four farmsteads, and a Radio Broadcast Complex. The manor house dates to 1900, and is a ​2 12-story, Colonial Revival-style dwelling modified in 1936–1941. Farmstead #1 includes the earliest buildings, dated to about 1841. Farmstead #2 includes a Shingle Style dwelling designed by architect John A. Dempwolf and built about 1893. Farmstead #3 has a ​3 12-story, banked Pennsylvania German dwelling built about 1845. It was built between 1911 and 1912 by the Pittsburgh and Lake Erie Railroad and Western Maryland Railroad. It is a 1 1/2-story, rectangular brick building measuring 109 feet by 28 feet. It features a three-story tower, wide overhanging eaves, and hipped roofs on the building and tower covered in blue-green Spanish terra cotta tiles. It is in an American Craftsman style of architecture. It ceased use as a passenger station in 1939, after which it housed a car dealership and auto parts store. The building has housed a variety of commercial and entertainment activities including a theater, bowling alley and poolroom, and meeting room. The second floor also housed an apartment.

Pennsylvania Railroad Freight Building is a historic freight station, warehouse and showroom building located in the University City neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was built by the Pennsylvania Railroad in 1929, and is a six-story, flat roofed building in the Art Deco style. The first floor is clad in limestone and the upper stories are of buff-colored brick. Each floor contains approximately 88,000 square feet. The building has been converted to residential use and is now known as the Left Bank.

National Bank of Coatesville Building, also known as the Industrial Valley Bank Building, is a historic bank building located at Coatesville, Chester County, Pennsylvania. It was built between 1906 and 1908, and is a four-story, steel-frame structure faced in buff-colored brick and Indiana Limestone in an eclectic Late Victorian style. It measures 70 feet by 140 feet, and is trimmed in terra cotta and Indiana limestone. It features a clock tower with rounded dome framing. In addition to the bank, the building once housed the post office. The building has been converted to apartments.
