The Seremban District is one of 7 districts in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. This is where the capital of Negeri Sembilan, Seremban is located.
Seremban District shares a border with Sepang and Hulu Langat Districts, Selangor to the north, Jelebu District to the northeast, Kuala Pilah District to the east, Port Dickson District to the west, and Rembau District to the south.
The newly formed Seremban City Council cover the whole Seremban district. The formation of Seremban City Council was done via the merging of Seremban Municipal Council and Nilai Municipal Council on 1 January 2020.

Seremban 2 is a new satellite township about 4 kilometres south-east of the existing old Seremban citt centre. Located on the western side of the North–South Expressway, Seremban 2 is a planned township built on former oil palm estate land. Seremban 2's purpose was to relocate the administrative and business district from the crowded old city centre to a more organised area.

Negeri Sembilan, historically spelled as Negri Sembilan, is a state in Malaysia which lies on the western coast of Peninsular Malaysia. It borders Selangor on the north, Pahang in the east, and Malacca and Johor to the south.
Nilai is a city located in Seremban District, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia, sharing the border with Selangor. It is the northern suburb within the Seremban metropolitan area, as well as part of the Greater Kuala Lumpur metropolitan area.

Paroi is an area in Seremban District, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. It is the eastern suburb of the city of Seremban, comprising many housing estates and villages. Numerous sport facilities are built in Paroi, especially the state stadium, the Tuanku Abdul Rahman Stadium. Another sports centre is the Paroi Sports and Youth Centre, which is a minor football stadium in Paroi. The Kompleks Sukan Negeri Paroi is located next to Tuanku Abdul Rahman Stadium, and opposite the Paroi Sports and Youth Centre. Also in Paroi is a golf course and a mosque.

Anthony Loke Siew Fook is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Minister of Transport for the second term in the Pakatan Harapan (PH) administration under Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim since December 2022 and the first term in the PH administration under former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad from May 2018 to the collapse of the PH administration in February 2020, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Seremban since May 2013, Rasah from March 2008 to May 2013 and Member of the Negeri Sembilan State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Chennah since May 2013, Lobak from March 2004 to May 2013. He is a member of the Democratic Action Party (DAP), a component party of the PH coalition. He has served as the 6th Secretary-General of DAP since March 2022, 2nd Parliamentary Leader of DAP from July 2018 to March 2022 and previously as National Organising Secretary of DAP. He also served as State Chairman of the Pakatan Rakyat (PR) opposition coalition of Negeri Sembilan before PH took over power from the Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition of the state in May 2018.
