Malmö is the largest city in the Swedish county of Skåne (Scania). It is the third-largest city in Sweden, after Stockholm and Gothenburg, and the sixth-largest city in the Nordic region, with a municipal population of 357,377 in 2022. The Malmö Metropolitan Region is home to over 700,000 people, and the Öresund Region, which includes Malmö and Copenhagen, is home to four million people.

Umeå is a city in northeast Sweden. It is the seat of Umeå Municipality and the capital of Västerbotten County.
Marta Vieira da Silva, known mononymously as Marta, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a forward for National Women's Soccer League club Orlando Pride. Marta is regarded by many as the greatest female footballer of all time. She has been named FIFA World Player of the Year six times, five of them being consecutive and the latest award coming in 2018.

Umeå City Church is a church building located in central Umeå, Sweden between Vänortsparken and the north bank of Ume River. It was inaugurated on 2 December 1894, which was First Advent Sunday that year.
Thora Maria Fredrika Hildegard Björck was the first Swedish woman to complete an academic degree. She is today considered a female academic pioneer in Sweden. Björck received the opportunity to enlist and graduate with degrees from both Lund and Uppsala. She also had an interest in literature and worked against prostitution.
Lina Mona Andréa Hurtig is a Swedish professional footballer who plays as a forward for English Women's Super League club Arsenal and the Sweden national team.
Kyrkbron is a bridge in Umeå that takes Östra Kyrkogatan over Ume River to Teg on the south side. The construction of Kyrkbron started in 1973 and it was opened on 26 September 1975 becoming Umeå's third bridge over the Ume river. A discussion about whether or not the bridge should be located next to the church lasted from the early 1960s and continued into the 1970s. During the construction an unknown burial ground was encountered, leading to archaeological excavations.

Hannah Ryggen was a Swedish-born Norwegian textile artist. Self-trained, she worked on a standing loom constructed by her husband, the painter Hans Ryggen. She lived on a farm on a Norwegian Fjord and dyed her yarn with local plants.
Mattias Löw is a Swedish film director, documentary filmmaker and photographer based in Stockholm and Motala, who specializes in social issues documentaries and documentary photography. He gives lectures and workshops on the topics of storytelling and documentary filmmaking, in addition to occasional acting. His photographs from Burning Man, a week-long large-scale desert event focused on community, art, self-expression, and self-reliance, has been published and exhibited in various art galleries and museums around the world.
