Barbro Margareta Svensson, known by her stage name Lill-Babs, was a Swedish singer, actress and television host. From the early 1950s until her death in 2018, she was one of Sweden's best-known and popular singers. She represented Sweden in the 1961 Eurovision Song Contest in Cannes with the song "April, april". She was also well known for the song "Är du kär i mej ännu Klas-Göran?".
Edvard Johannes Brost Forssell was a Swedish actor. He became recognized for his roles in the television programs Stjärnhuset and Rederiet; in Rederiet he appeared in 318 episodes. In 2013, he won a Guldbagge award for his role in the film Avalon. He also had several roles in theater.
Jan Rikard Wolff was a Swedish actor and singer. His career included both film roles in House of Angels and its two sequels and theatre roles such as in Waiting for Godot at Royal Dramatic Theatre, and A Chorus Line at The Göteborg Opera. He was made a Knight of the Legion of Honour for his work with French music. He had also been awarded a Grammis, and received the Swedish Academy's 2017 prize for theatre, as well as a royal medal for his service as an actor.
Arne Georg Fredrik Weise was a Swedish journalist and television personality, one of the presenters for Sveriges Television (SVT). He worked at Sveriges Radio from 1952 and started working for SVT in 1979.
Sven Alarik Melander was a Swedish journalist, comedian, television presenter, and actor. He hosted multiple shows for SVT, acted in films and theater, and co-presented the 1994 Melodifestivalen competition.
Per Nils Myrberg was a Swedish singer and actor. He appeared in many films since 1957 including The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. He also was a singer, having success at Svensktoppen.

Frank Öivind Stefan Andersson was a Swedish amateur wrestler and entertainer. He started in amateur wrestling, winning several world championship gold medals as well as a bronze medal at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. He later became a professional wrestler with mixed success. He was also a television personality appearing on several Swedish reality and game shows.
Rolf Fredrik Skoglund was a Swedish actor. He won the Eugene O'Neill Award in 2007.
Kjell Stefan Löfven is a Swedish politician who has served as the President of European Socialists since October 2022. He previously served as Prime Minister of Sweden from October 2014 to November 2021 and leader of the Social Democratic Party from 2012 to 2021.
Fritz-Olof Thunberg was a Swedish actor, perhaps best known as the voice of the cartoon character Bamse.
John Knut Chrispinsson was a Swedish journalist, author and television presenter. He worked mostly in TV and radio with news programmes and historical programmes. Chrispinsson also wrote several books on Swedish history.
General elections were held in Sweden on 11 September 2022 to elect the 349 members of the Riksdag who in turn elected the Prime Minister of Sweden. Under the constitution, regional and municipal elections were also held on the same day. The preliminary results presented on 15 September showed the government parties lost their majority, which were confirmed by the final results published on 17 September. After a month of negotiations following the elections that led to the Tidö Agreement among the right-wing bloc, Moderate Party (M) leader Ulf Kristersson was elected prime minister on 17 October. The Kristersson cabinet is a minority government that relies on confidence and supply from the Sweden Democrats (SD).

Nils Kurt Erik Einar Grönberg, who was commonly known as Einár was a Swedish rapper. He released four albums, two of which topped the Swedish album chart. In 2019, he won the Musikförläggarnas pris for Breakthrough of the Year and in 2020 he won two Grammis, Sweden's oldest pop music awards. Two of his singles peaked at number one on the Swedish singles chart and four have been certified platinum by the Swedish Recording Industry Association (SRIA). He is also featured on the number-one single "Gamora" by the group Hov1.
