The 1993 Superbike World Championship was the sixth FIM Superbike World Championship season. The season started on 9 April at Brands Hatch; the fourteenth and last round, which was due to be held on the weekend of 7 November in Mexico City, was cancelled on Saturday as a result of track safety issues. [1]

Scott Russell won the riders' championship with 5 victories and Ducati won the manufacturers' championship.

The Supersport World Championship, abbreviated to WorldSSP, is a motorcycle racing competition on hard-surfaced circuits, based on mid-sized sports motorcycles. Gino Daniel Rea is an English motorcycle racer. In August 2022 he suffered serious injuries in a practice crash at the Suzuka 8 Hours. After emergency hospital treatment including an induced coma, after a month he was transferred by a specialised medical aircraft from Japan to London.

The 2021 Santander Salt FIM Sidecar World Championship was the 72nd season of the Sidecar World Championship. The championship was won by Markus Schlosser and Marcel Fries of Switzerland. The season was contested across seven rounds, six rounds consisting of two races, and the final round in Estoril with three races.
