The 1995 NSL First Division was the 11th edition of the National Soccer League First Division. The competition was won by Cape Town Spurs, who won the double by also winning the 1995 Bob Save Superbowl. [1]

Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, commonly referred to as simply Tottenham or Spurs, is a professional football club based in Tottenham, London, England. It competes in the Premier League, the top flight of English football. The team has played its home matches in the 62,850-capacity Tottenham Hotspur Stadium since April 2019, replacing their former home of White Hart Lane, which had been demolished to make way for the new stadium on the same site.

David Craig Mackay was a Scottish football player and manager. Mackay was best known for a highly successful playing career with Heart of Midlothian, the Double-winning Tottenham Hotspur side of 1961, and winning the league with Derby County as a manager. He also represented Scotland 22 times, and was selected for their 1958 FIFA World Cup squad. Mackay tied with Tony Book of Manchester City for the Football Writers' Association's Footballer of the Year award in 1969 and was later listed by the Football League in their "100 Legends", as well as being an inaugural inductee to both the English and Scottish Football Halls of Fame. He was described, by Tottenham Hotspur, as one of their greatest players and was known as 'the heartbeat' of their most successful ever team.

The Six Gun Grill Western Province is a first-class cricket team from the Western Cape province within the domestic cricket structure of South Africa. A Western Province team has played top-class cricket since the 1890s, including the franchise era team of Cape Cobras that existed between 2005 and 2021. The current Western Province team was re-formed for the 2021/22 season after the previous franchise structure was disbanded following CSA domestic reorganisation. Whereas many teams opted to keep their former franchise brands, Cape Cobras elected to return to their traditional name.

The Texas–Texas Tech football rivalry is an American college football rivalry between the Texas Longhorns and the Texas Tech Red Raiders. The winner of this gauntlet receives the other university's chancellor's sterling silver boot spurs which is what the name of the rivalry is named after. The Battle For The Chancellor's Spurs has been played uninterrupted since the 1960 college football season. After Texas has joined the SEC, the future of this game remains uncertain.
