The 2007 SuperLiga , the inaugural edition of the SuperLiga competition, was held from July 24 to August 29, 2007. The eight clubs participating in the 2007 tournament were chosen by invitation.

Contents

All games of the tournament were carried live on Fox Sports World in Canada (English), Telefutura in the United States (Spanish), and Televisa and TV Azteca in Mexico (both Spanish).

Qualification

The eight teams in the inaugural 2007 edition were selected on an invitation-only basis. [1]

The 2008 Pan-Pacific Championship is the inaugural edition of the Pan-Pacific Championship association football competition which took place on February 20 and February 23 in Honolulu, Hawaii, featuring teams from Japan's J. Toyota Stadium (Texas)

Toyota Stadium is a soccer-specific stadium located in Frisco, a suburb of Dallas, Texas, United States. Built and owned by the city of Frisco, the 20,500 seat-capacity stadium was opened in 2005. Its primary tenants are Major League Soccer club FC Dallas and Frisco Independent School District high school football games. It also hosts the annual NCAA Division I Football Championship, the title game of college football's Football Championship Subdivision. Additionally, it is the home of the National Soccer Hall of Fame which opened in 2018.

The 2007 season was the 95th year of competitive soccer in the United States.

The 2011–12 CONCACAF Champions League Group Stage were played from August to October 2011. The matchdays were August 16–18, August 23–25, September 13–15, September 20–22, September 27–29, and October 18–20, 2011.
