The 2015 South American Youth Football Championship (Spanish : Campeonato Sudamericano Sub-20 Juventud de América Uruguay 2015, Portuguese : Campeonato Sulamericano Sub-20 Juventude da América Uruguai 2015) was the 27th edition of the biennial international youth football tournament organized by CONMEBOL for players aged 20 and below. It was held in Uruguay from 14 January to 7 February 2015. [1]
The South American Youth Football Championship, also known as U-20 South American Championship and Juventud de América is a South American association football tournament organized by the CONMEBOL, for South American national teams of men under age of 20.

The Brazil national under-20 football team, also known as Brazil Sub-20 or Seleção Sub-20, represents Brazil in association football at this age level and is controlled by the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF).

The 1995 Copa América football tournament was staged in Uruguay. It was won by Uruguay, who beat Brazil 5–3 in the penalty shootout after a 1–1 draw in the final. All 10 CONMEBOL members took part, with Mexico and the USA invited in order to reach 12 teams.

The 2005 South American Youth Championship is a football competition contested by all ten U-20 national football teams of CONMEBOL. The tournament was held in Colombia between 13 January and 6 February 2005, it was the 22nd time the competition has been held and the third to take place in Colombia. Colombia finished undefeated, winning their second trophy.
The 2003 South American Youth Championship is a football competition contested by all ten U-20 national football teams of CONMEBOL. The tournament was held in Uruguay between 4 January and 28 January 2003, it was the 21st time the competition has been held and the second to take place in Uruguay. Argentina won their fourth trophy.
The 2013 South American Under-15 Football Championship is the 6th South American Under-15 Football Championship for national teams affiliated with CONMEBOL. It is set to begin on November 16, and end on November 30. The winning team will represent South America in the 2014 Summer Youth Olympic Football Tournament.
The 2014 South American Under-20 Women's Football Championship was the 6th edition of the South American under-20 women's football championship. It was held from 12 to 31 January 2014 in Uruguay. The best two teams also qualified for the 2014 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup.
