Montenegrin First League mens association football top division of Montenegro

The First League of Montenegro is the top football league in Montenegro. Founded in 2006, competition is headed by the Football Association of Montenegro. 10 teams participate in this league. The winner of the Montenegrin First League starts the qualifications for the UEFA Champions League from the second round. The second and third placed team and Montenegrin Cup winner play in the qualifying rounds of the UEFA Europa League. The last placed team is directly relegated to the Montenegrin Second League, and the two others are playing in Montenegrin First League playoffs.

FK Berane association football club

Fudbalski klub Berane is a Montenegrin football club based in Berane. Established at 1920, the club plays in the Second League of Montenegro.

FK Iskra Danilovgrad association football club in Montenegro

Fudbalski klub Iskra is a Montenegrin football club based in Danilovgrad. They currently compete in the Montenegrin First League.

Gusinje Municipality Municipality in Montenegro

The Gusinje Municipality is a municipality in eastern Montenegro in the upper Lim valley at an elevation of about 1,000 m (3,000 ft). It was created in 2014, when it split from Plav Municipality. Its center is the small town of Gusinje, and its biggest village in terms of territory is Vusanje. Two of Montenegro's highest mountains overlook Gusinje: Zla Kolata and Visitor.

Democratic Montenegro, also known as the Democrats, is a centrist and big tent political party in Montenegro. Party currently has nine MPs in the parliament, elected in 2020, from the Peace is Our Nation electoral list. Current leader, and the founder of Democratic Montenegro is Aleksa Bečić.

Montenegrin Derby

The Montenegrin Derby is the main football match in Montenegro, between the teams from the two biggest Montenegrin cities. Rivals are FK Budućnost from Podgorica and FK Sutjeska from Nikšić, two most popular sports societies in Montenegro. The rivalry is present in football and basketball.
Two clubs played their derbies in Montenegrin Championship, First League of SFR Yugoslavia, FR Yugoslavia and Serbia and Montenegro, and today, four times on one season, in Montenegrin First League.

2016–18 Montenegrin municipal elections

Montenegrin municipal elections were held in all 23 municipalities, between April 2016 and May 2018.

Local elections were held on 12 March 2017 in Nikšić, on 7 May in Herceg Novi and on 26 November in the municipalities of Cetinje, Mojkovac and Petnjica, as well as Tuzi, which is set to become a municipality in 2018.
