The 2020 MLS SuperDraft was the 21st edition of the SuperDraft conducted by Major League Soccer. The 2020 SuperDraft was the first SuperDraft held exclusively via conference call and web streaming. [1] The first two rounds of the 2020 SuperDraft were held on January 9, 2020 while rounds three and four were held on January 13, 2020. [2] Previously, the SuperDraft had been held in conjunction with the annual January United Soccer Coaches convention.
The SuperDraft format has remained constant throughout its history and closely resembles that of the NFL Draft:

The 2011 MLS SuperDraft was the twelfth annual SuperDraft presented by Major League Soccer. It was held on January 13, 2011 in Baltimore, Maryland, during the 2011 NSCAA Convention at the Baltimore Convention Center. The 2011 SuperDraft consisted of three rounds with eighteen selections each, for a total of 54 players selected during the draft. The draft preceded the 2011 MLS season.
The 2013 MLS SuperDraft was the fourteenth SuperDraft presented by Major League Soccer. The draft took place on January 17, 2013 in Indianapolis, Indiana at the Indiana Convention Center.

Previously, the SuperDraft had been held in conjunction with the annual January United Soccer Coaches convention.
The 2022 Columbus Crew season was the club's twenty-seventh season of existence and their twenty-seventh consecutive season in Major League Soccer, the top flight of American soccer. The season covered the period from November 8, 2021 to the end of the 2022 season. It was the fourth and final season under head coach Caleb Porter.
The 2024 MLS SuperDraft was the 25th edition of the MLS SuperDraft, a sports draft to select amateur, usually collegiate, soccer players that are not affiliate with an MLS club, or college soccer players that had their Homegrown player rights relinquished by their parent MLS club. The draft will be held on December 19, 2023, marking the second year in a row that the draft will be held in December. Despite the draft being held in 2023, the draft retained the 2024 branding.
