The National Super League is a limited overs cricket tournament which was held in Sri Lanka from 24 January to 19 February 2022. [1] [2] The first phase of the 50-over competition was played in two venues: SSC and P. Sara Oval. The second phase of the round-robin stage was played in Pallekelle and Dambulla, where the final was played on 19 February.

Subasinghe Mudiyanselage Ashan Priyanjan is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer who plays for the national side in limited over formats. He is a middle-order batsman and occasionally a right-arm off break bowler.
Wanigamuni Ramesh Tarinda Mendis is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer who plays for the Sri Lanka cricket team. He was part of Sri Lanka's squad for the 2014 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup. He made his international debut for the Sri Lanka cricket team in January 2021.

Paththamperuma Arachchige Don Lakshan Rangika Sandakan, commonly known as Lakshan Sandakan, is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer who plays for the national team in all three formats of the game. He is a past pupil of De Mazenod College, Kandana.
Janith Liyanage is a Sri Lankan cricketer. He made his international debut for the Sri Lanka cricket team in February 2022.
The 2017–18 Super Four Provincial Tournament was a first-class cricket tournament, that was played in Sri Lanka during March and April 2018. It took place following the conclusion of the 2017–18 Premier League Tournament and featured four teams based on the Centers of Excellence in Sri Lanka. It was the first time this type of tournament has been played in Sri Lanka since 2013. Galle won the tournament, finishing ahead of Dambulla, despite Dambulla winning a game, with Galle drawing all their fixtures.
Koralegedera Nadeeja Ashen Bandara, known as Ashen Bandara, is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer who plays limited over internationals for Sri Lanka. He made his international debut for the Sri Lanka cricket team in March 2021.
The 2018 Super Provincial One Day Tournament was a List A cricket tournament that was played in Sri Lanka between 2 May and 10 June 2018, following the conclusion of the 2017–18 Super Four Provincial Tournament. Four teams took part in the competition: Colombo, Dambulla, Galle and Kandy. Galle and Colombo qualified for the final, after they finished first and second respectively in the group stage.
The 2018 SLC T20 League was a domestic Twenty20 cricket tournament that was held in Sri Lanka, between 21 August and 2 September 2018. Four teams took part in the tournament: Colombo, Dambulla, Galle and Kandy. The Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium, Pallekele International Cricket Stadium and the R. The 2018–19 SLC Twenty20 Tournament was a Twenty20 cricket tournament that was held in Sri Lanka. It was played between twenty-four domestic teams in Sri Lanka, with the tournament running from 15 to 27 February 2019. Nondescripts Cricket Club were the defending champions.

The 2020 Lanka Premier League also known as My11Circle LPL T20, for sponsorship reasons, was the inaugural edition of the Lanka Premier League (LPL) Twenty20 franchise cricket tournament in Sri Lanka. Five teams based on various Sri Lankan cities played a total of 23 matches. It was originally scheduled to start in August but was rescheduled several times due to restrictions for the COVID-19 pandemic.
The 2021 Lanka Premier League also known as Wolf777 News LPL T20, for sponsorship reasons, was the second edition of the Lanka Premier League (LPL) Twenty20 franchise cricket tournament in Sri Lanka. It took place from 5 to 23 December 2021. There were plans to increase the number of teams from five to six, but Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) confirmed that five teams would take part, as per the first tournament.
The Galle Gladiators (GG) is the franchise cricket team based in Galle, Southern Province, Sri Lanka which has been playing in the Lanka Premier League (LPL) since the first edition of the tournament in 2020. They was the five teams to compete in the 2021 Lanka Premier League. The team was captained by Bhanuka Rajapaksa and coached by Umar Gul.
The Kandy Warriors is a franchise cricket team which competes in 2021 Lanka Premier League. The team is based in Kandy, Central Province, Sri Lanka. In October 2021, Kandy Tuskers changed their name to Kandy Warriors after announced as having new owners. The team was captained by Angelo Perera and coached by Lalchand Rajput.
The Colombo Stars is a franchise cricket team which competes in 2021 Lanka Premier League. The team is based in Colombo, Western Province, Sri Lanka. In November 2021, the team changed their name to Colombo Stars after changing owners. The team was captained by Dhananjaya de Silva for few initial games as an acting captain until Angelo Mathews recover and coached by Ruwan Kalpage.
The 2022 Lanka Premier League also known as Mazaplay LPL T20, for sponsorship reasons, was the third edition of the Lanka Premier League (LPL) Twenty20 franchise cricket tournament in Sri Lanka. It was originally scheduled to take place from 31 July to 21 August 2022 with Sri Lanka Cricket initially having promised to conduct LPL tournament targeting the August window. The ODI series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka were scrapped due to the hosting of this tournament. However, in July 2022, the tournament was postponed due to the economic crisis in Sri Lanka, with the aim to play it later in 2022. The tournament was later rescheduled and held from 6 to 23 December 2022. The tournament also emphasized to promote and boost both the economy and international tourism.
The Dambulla Aura (DA) is a franchise cricket team that competes in 2022 Lanka Premier League. The team is based in Dambulla, Central Province, Sri Lanka. In September 2021, Dambulla Viiking changed their name to Dambulla Giants after having new owners. In 2022 Dambulla team changed their name to Dambulla Aura. The team was captained by Dasun Shanaka and coached by Mickey Arthur.

It began on 30 July and the final was held on 20 August 2023. The tournament was played by five teams in three international venues. The league was organized by the Sri Lanka Cricket. Jaffna Kings were the defending champions. This was the first Lanka Premier League season to feature an auction as the previous editions used to have the draft to choose players.
