Ryan Held is an American freestyle swimmer who specializes in the sprint events, and is currently sponsored by Arena. He holds the U.S. Open record in the long course 100 meter freestyle and three world records in short course relay events. The Men's 50 metre breaststroke competition of the 2018 FINA World Swimming Championships was held on 15 and 16 December 2018 at the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center.
