The boys' singles of the tournament 2024 BWF World Junior Championships was an individual badminton tournament to crowned the best boys' singles under 19 player across the BWF associate members around the world. Players will compete to win the Eye Level Cup presented by the former BWF President and chairman of the World Youth Culture Foundation, Kang Young Joong. [1] The tournament was held from 7 to 13 October 2024 in Nanchang International Sports Center, Nanchang, Jiangxi, China. [2] The winner of the last edition was Alwi Farhan of Indonesia. [3]

He played in the decisive matches for Indonesia to win the team event at the 2015 and 2017 SEA Games.

At the 2017 All England Open, he defeated 6-time champion Lin Dan to reach the final, and repeated the same feat again at the 2018 All England Open, where he outclassed Lin Dan in the tournament final. He also won a silver medal at the 2018 World Championships.

Sun Feixiang is a Chinese badminton player from Yichang. He was the gold medalists at the 2016 Asian and World Junior Championships in the boys' singles event. He won his first senior international title at the 2017 China International tournament in the men's singles event, and claimed his first BWF Tour title in the 2019 Indonesia Masters Super 100 tournament, beating Thailand's Tanongsak Saensomboonsuk in straight games in the final.

Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo is an Indonesian professional badminton player. He was a World junior silver medalist in 2016 and Asian Championships bronze medalist in 2022. Dwi Wardoyo was also part of Indonesia winning team at the 2020 Thomas Cup. He is the older brother of Ester Nurumi Tri Wardoyo.

Lakshya Sen is an Indian badminton player. He's a former World Junior No. 1. Sen is a bronze medalist at the World Championships, a gold medalist at the Thomas Cup, a silver medalist at the Asian Games and a gold and silver medalist at the Commonwealth Games. He has also won bronze medals at the Asia Team and Asia Mixed Team Championships. Sen won the Canada Open and was the runner-up at the All England Open. At the junior level, he has won a gold and silver medal at the Youth Olympic Games, a bronze medal at World Junior Championships and a gold and bronze medal at Asia Junior Championships.

Leong Jun Hao is a Malaysian badminton player. He was the boys' singles champion at the 2017 Asian Junior Championships. This achievement was followed by a silver medal at World Junior Championships.

An Se-young is a South Korean badminton player from Gwangju, who won the gold medal at the 2024 Summer Olympics in the women's singles event. She was named 2019’s Most Promising Player of the Year and 2023's Female Player of the Year by the BWF. She won the gold medal at the 2023 World Championships, making history as the first Korean women's singles player to win the World Championships title. She then clinched the women's singles gold medal at the 2022 Asian Games. An was also a part of South Korea’s gold medal winning teams at the 2022 Uber Cup and at the 2022 Asian Games.

Alwi Farhan Alhasny is an Indonesian badminton player. He was part of the Indonesia men's team squad that won gold medal at the 2023 SEA Games. He won the boys' singles title at the 2023 World Junior Championships.

Syabda Perkasa Belawa was an Indonesian badminton player affiliated with PB Djarum badminton club from 2013 to 2023, and joined Indonesia national badminton team training center in 2018.

Hu Zhe An is a Chinese badminton player. He is a two-time Asian Junior champion, having won in 2023 and 2024. Hu won his first senior title at the 2024 Baoji China Masters.

The tournament was held from 7 to 13 October 2024 in Nanchang International Sports Center, Nanchang, Jiangxi, China. The defending champion was Pitchamon Opatniputh from Thailand. Competing as second seed, Opatniputh was upset by Yin Yiqing of China in the fourth round.

The mixed doubles of the tournament 2024 BWF World Junior Championships was an individual badminton tournament to crowned the best mixed doubles under 19 player across the BWF associate members around the world. Players will compete to win the Eye Level Cup presented by the former BWF President and chairman of the World Youth Culture Foundation, Kang Young Joong. The tournament was held from 7 to 13 October 2024 in Nanchang International Sports Center, Nanchang, Jiangxi, China. The winner of the last edition was Liao Pinyi and Zhang Jiahan from China, but Liao Pinyi was not eligible to participate this year.
