The 2025 Montreal Alouettes season is scheduled to be the 58th season for the team in the Canadian Football League and their 70th overall. The team will attempt to qualify for the playoffs for the sixth consecutive season and win their ninth Grey Cup championship.

The 2025 CFL season is scheduled to be the third season with Jason Maas as the team's head coach and the fifth season with Danny Maciocia as the team's general manager. [1] [2]

The 2025 CFL draft is scheduled to take place in the spring of 2025. [3] The Alouettes are scheduled to have nine selections in the eight-round draft. Not including traded picks or forfeitures, the team will select seventh in each round of the draft after finishing first in the 2024 league standings, but not qualifying for the 111th Grey Cup game. [4]

He is best known for his playing career as a quarterback with the Edmonton Eskimos where he won two Grey Cup championships. He also played for the Alouettes and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. He has coached the Toronto Argonauts, Ottawa Redblacks, and Saskatchewan Roughriders and was the head coach of the Eskimos from 2016 to 2019.

Marcel Desjardins is a Canadian football executive who is currently the assistant to the general manager and player personnel for the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He has also served as the general manager for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats for two seasons and the Ottawa Redblacks for eight seasons. He is a four time Grey Cup champion, having won his first three with the Alouettes and his fourth with the Redblacks in 2016. Desjardins is a graduate of the Sports Administration program at Laurentian University in Sudbury, Ontario.

Following an Ottawa Redblacks loss in week 17, the Alouettes later clinched first place in the East Division for the first time since 2012.
