New programs

On May 6, the Northeast Conference announced that New Haven of the Division II Northeast-10 Conference had accepted an invitation to join the conference and begin the transition to Division I. [28] The Chargers will begin play in the NEC this year, and will become full Division I members in the 2028–29 season.
