The Cabinet of Kuwait is the chief executive body of the State of Kuwait. The following cabinet is the 34th in the history of Kuwait. [1] It was formed on 10 December 2016, [2] after the previous Cabinet resigned on 28 November 2016. [3] The Cabinet resigned on 30 October 2017. [4]

It was formed on 17 December 2019, after the previous Cabinet resigned on 14 November 2019. On 30 January 2020, Minister Ghadeer Al-Aseeri tendered her resignation. On 16 February 2020, a cabinet reshuffle took place and Kuwait's Amir received new cabinet members for oath ceremony. On 2 March 2020, Minister Mohammad Bushehri's resignation as Minister of Electricity & Water was accepted. On 26 October 2020, Minister Mohammad Al-Jabri's resignation as Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs was accepted. On 6 December 2020, the resignation of the Prime Minister and all the ministers were accepted by the Emir of Kuwait. The cabinet will be proceeding in a care taking manner until the formation of the new cabinet.

On 8 December 2020, Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah assigned Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah as Prime Minister. The Amir has also assigned the Prime Minister to refer the cabinet line-up for their appointment. On 14 December, the Prime Minister formed the new cabinet and the Amir issued a decree on the formation of the government. The new cabinet includes seven newcomers, three former ministers and six member including the premier himself from the previous cabinet. On 12 January 2021, the Ministers of the Cabinet tendered in their resignations to the Prime Minister. On 13 January 2021, the Prime Minister submitted the government's resignation to the Amir. On 18 January 2021, the Amir accepted the resignation of the Prime Minister and his government. The cabinet will be proceeding in a care taking manner until the formation of the new cabinet.

On 24 January 2021, Amir of Kuwait His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah assigned His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah as Prime Minister. The Amir has also assigned the Prime Minister to refer the cabinet line-up for their appointment. On 2 March, the Prime Minister formed the new cabinet and the Amir issued a decree on the formation of the government. On 8 November 2021, the Prime Minister submitted the government's resignation to the Amir. On 14 November 2021, the Amir accepted the resignation of the Prime Minister and his government. The government will function as care-taker until the formation of the new government.

The Cabinet of Kuwait is the chief executive body of the State of Kuwait. The 39th cabinet in the history of Kuwait was appointed on 28 December 2021. On 23 November 2021, Amir of Kuwait His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah assigned His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah as Prime Minister. The Amir has also assigned the Prime Minister to refer the cabinet line-up for their appointment. On 28 December 2021, the new cabinet line up was announced after the Amir approved in an Amiri order. On 17 February 2022, Amir of Kuwait accepted the resignations of the Minister of Defense & Minister of Interior. On 9 March 2022, an Amiri Decree has been issued appointing the interior minister and defense minister. On 22 March 2022, cabinet reshuffle took place, with the 3 existing minister being reassigned portfolios. On 5 April 2022, the Prime Minister tendered a letter of governmental resignation to the Crown Prince. On 10 May 2022, the Emir accepted the government resignation. The government will function as care-taker until the formation of the new government.
