Revolution is a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event held annually by All Elite Wrestling (AEW) since 2020—it was originally held in late February but moved to early March in 2021. It is one of AEW's "Big Five" PPVs, which also includes Double or Nothing, All In, All Out, and Full Gear, their five biggest shows produced throughout the year. [1]

On December 1, 2025, AEW announced that the seventh annual Revolution would take place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California on March 15, 2026, marking the second consecutive year that the Revolution PPV event will be held at the venue. Tickets for the event went on sale December 15. [2]

Broadcast

Revolution will air via PPV through traditional cable and satellite providers. [3] In the United States, AEW PPV events are available on HBO Max at an exclusive discounted rate for subscribers. The event will also be available in the United States and internationally on Prime Video, Triller TV, PPV.com, and YouTube. Additionally in the United States, the show will be broadcast at Dave & Buster's and Tom's Watch Bar locations.

Storylines

Revolution will feature professional wrestling matches that involve different wrestlers from pre-existing feuds and storylines. [4] Storylines are produced on AEW's weekly television programs, Dynamite and Collision .

After earning a title shot at Grand Slam Australia, "Hangman" Adam Page challenged MJF to a Texas Death Match for the AEW World Championship. To entice MJF, Page added a high-stakes stipulation, vowing that he will never challenge for the title again if he loses. MJF initially attempted to rig the match's rules in his favor using a double-sided coin, but he was caught by Page, Mike Bailey, Kevin Knight, Brody King and Bandito (all of whom had fought and lost to MJF in recent weeks). Consequently, AEW President, Tony Khan officially sanctioned the Texas Death Match, leading to a final build-up where MJF interfered to cost Page the World Trios Championships on the March 4 episode of Dynamite. [5]

After Konosuke Takeshita handed Jon Moxley his only pinfall loss during the 2025 Continental Classic, the two clashed again for the AEW Continental Championship at Grand Slam Australia in a match that ended in a dramatic 20-minute time limit draw. Unwilling to let the rivalry end without a definitive winner, Moxley issued a challenge for a rematch at Revolution with a No Time Limit stipulation to ensure one man leaves as champion. In the weeks leading up to Revolution, Moxley had gone on a warpath, systematically dismantling members of the Don Callis Family like El Clon and Hechicero to send a violent message to his challenger. Tensions reached a boiling point on the February 28 episode of Collision, where the two had to be separated multiple times by security after a chaotic brawl following an 8-man tag team main event. [6]

The Young Bucks secured a match for the AEW World Tag Team Championship by winning a three-way match on the February 11 episode of Dynamite. The conflict turned deeply personal when FTR and Stokely Hathaway crossed a line by assaulting the Jacksons' family, including a brutal stuff piledriver delivered to their younger brother, Malachi. In a vengeful retaliation during a "Mile High Madness" bout, the Bucks put Cash Wheeler through a table to signal that their interest had shifted from gold to pure violence. This blood feud culminated in a tense final confrontation on the March 4 Dynamite, where both teams agreed that at Revolution, they would settle who truly owns the tag team legacy in AEW. [5]
