The AFL Coaches Association (AFLCA) is the representative body for Australian Football League coaches.
The AFLCA was founded in 2002, and as of 2015 had 178 members. [3] Every year annually since 2003, the AFLCA has released a set of awards, mainly to players and coaches in the Australian Football League. [4] Danny Frawley is a former CEO of the Association, stepping down from the role in 2014. [5] He was replaced by Mark Brayshaw who served from 2015 to 2021. [6] The current CEO is Alistair Nicholson who was appointed in March 2021. He's a former Melbourne Football Club player who since retirement served on the AFL Players' Association executive committee and more recently was the Australian Cricketers' Association CEO. [7]

The Fremantle Football Club, nicknamed the Dockers, is a professional Australian rules football club competing in the Australian Football League (AFL), the sport's elite competition. The team was founded in 1994 to represent the port city of Fremantle, a stronghold of Australian rules football in Western Australia. The Dockers were the second team from the state to be admitted to the competition, following the West Coast Eagles in 1987. Both Fremantle and the West Coast Eagles are owned by the West Australian Football Commission (WAFC), with a board of directors operating Fremantle on the commission's behalf.

Brian Carlyle Cook is a Scottish-born Australian businessman and former Australian rules football player and coach who is the current chief executive officer (CEO) of the Carlton Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Cook played for a number of different clubs in several Australian states and territories, including the Box Hill Football Club in the Victorian Football Association (VFA), the Melbourne Football Club in the Victorian Football League (VFL) and the East Perth and Subiaco Football Clubs in the Western Australian National Football League (WANFL), and later captain-coached the Ainslie Football Club in the Australian Capital Territory Football League (ACTFL). After his retirement from coaching, Cook occupied positions with the Australian Sports Commission and the West Australian Football Commission, before being appointed CEO of the West Coast Eagles in 1990. He quit this position in 1998 to take up the same role with Geelong Football Club. At the conclusion of the 2021 AFL season, he took the CEO position at the Carlton Football Club.
Nathan Burke is a former Australian rules footballer and current coach of the Western Bulldogs team in the AFL Women's competition (AFLW).
Daniel Patrick Frawley was an Australian rules football player, coach, administrator, commentator and media personality. He played 240 games for the St Kilda Football Club in the Victorian Football League (VFL)/Australian Football League (AFL) from 1984 to 1995, captaining the club for nine seasons, and won All-Australian selection and the St Kilda best and fairest award in 1988. Frawley coached the Richmond Football Club from 2000 to 2004, with his most successful season coming in 2001, when he coached Richmond to a preliminary final. He later served as chief executive officer of the AFL Coaches Association from 2008 to 2014, and had part-time roles with the Hawthorn Football Club and St Kilda.
Mark Andrew Brayshaw is a former Australian rules footballer who played for North Melbourne Football Club in the AFL. He is the brother of James Brayshaw and the son of Ian Brayshaw. His sons Angus, Andrew and Hamish are each on an AFL lists.

Touk Miller is a professional Australian rules footballer playing for the Gold Coast Suns in the Australian Football League (AFL). Miller plays as a midfielder and was drafted to the Suns as the 29th overall pick in the 2014 AFL draft.

Clayton Oliver is a professional Australian rules footballer playing for the Melbourne Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL).
