The Abiathar King Williams House is a historic house located at 43 Ingell Street in Taunton, Massachusetts, United States.
The 2+1⁄2-story, wood-framed house was begun in 1843 by Abiathar King Williams, a member of the locally prominent Williams family, and finished by his brother George. It has simple vernacular Greek Revival styling, mainly in its front door surround, which has sidelight windows, and pilasters supporting an entablature. The Williams family was an economically significant force in the area; its descendants still owned the house in 1984. [2]

Built in 1847, this 2+1⁄2-story stone structure is one of only two stone houses built in Taunton in the 19th century. Its walls are fashioned out of coursed granite, and it has a single-story porch across its front facade, supported by stone piers. It was operated as a hostelry for seamen in the employ of some of Taunton's shipping magnates.

It is a rare surviving brick gambrel from the Federal period, and also rare for its connection to the city's maritime trade.

Abiathar and Nancy White moved their family to Burlington from Dighton, Massachusetts in 1838. They acquired this property the same year. Abiathar was a carpenter who may have built this house. One of Abiathar and Nancy's sons, Charles Abiathar White, became a well-known geologist and paleontologist. This was his childhood home.
