Adriana Maria Randall is a South African politician. She is currently a member of the Gauteng Provincial Legislature for the opposition Democratic Alliance. She is the DA's Shadow MEC for Finance. Randall had previously served as the DA's Procurement spokesperson and Shadow MEC for Provincial Treasury and e-Government.

Career

Randall was a Bank Manager at Absa for many years. She holds post-graduate degrees in Business Psychology. [1]

In 2005, Randall became a member of the Democratic Alliance and in March 2006, she was elected as the ward councillor for ward 52 in the Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality. Randall was appointed the Shadow Mayoral Committee Member for Finance in the metro in 2012. She headed the Against Crime Team, where she exposed tender irregularities in Tshwane. [1]

In the build-up to the 2014 election, Randall was placed twenty-third on the Democratic Alliance's list of candidates for the provincial legislature. [2] She was elected to the Gauteng Provincial Legislature as the DA won 23 seats. [3] In 2019, she was placed sixteenth on the party's provincial list and was re-elected. [2]

Randall has one daughter, Chante.

The 2021 South African municipal elections will be held on 27 October 2021, to elect councils for all district, metropolitan and local municipalities in each of the country's nine provinces. It will be the sixth municipal election held in South Africa since the end of apartheid in 1994; municipal elections are held every five years. The previous municipal elections were held in 2016.

John Clifford Moodey is a South African politician who served as the Provincial Leader of the Democratic Alliance (DA) in Gauteng from 2007 to 2010 and from 2012 until 2020. Moodey was a Member of the Gauteng Provincial Legislature from 2004 to 2020 and served as Leader of the Opposition from 2014 to 2019. He was the DA's Shadow MEC for Community Safety.

Ashor Sarupen is a South African politician who serves as a Member of the National Assembly of South Africa for the Democratic Alliance (DA), after having taken office on 22 May 2019. Refiloe Nt'sekhe is a South African politician who serves as a Deputy Federal Chairperson of the Democratic Alliance (DA). She was elected to the position at the 2015 Federal Congress. From May 2014 to May 2019, she served as a Member of the Gauteng Provincial Legislature. Clarke was also the ward councillor for Bedfordview until 2014.

Audrey Winifred Morakane Ketlhoilwe Mosupyoe, known as Morakane Mosupyoe, is a South African politician serving as the Gauteng MEC for Social Development since December 2020. She was the MEC for Economic Development, Agriculture and Environment from October 2019 to December 2020. Prior to her election to the Gauteng Provincial Legislature in 2019, she served as a Tshwane city councillor. Mosupyoe is a member of the African National Congress.
