Africa International University is a Christian university in Karen, Nairobi, Kenya. [2]

History

Africa International University was founded in 1983 as the Nairobi Evangelical Graduate School of Theology (N.E.G.S.T) through the vision of the Association of Evangelicals in Africa. [3] The goal was to provide training for pastors beyond the basic certificate and diploma levels.

In March 2011, A.I.U was awarded a university charter by the government of Kenya and has continued to develop undergraduate programs, particularly in business, ICT, Development Studies and Counselling Psychology. [4]

Founded in 1906 by The Brethren Church, ATS is a graduate division of Ashland University. The seminary is accredited by the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada and the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.

The Alliance Graduate School (AGS) is an inter-denominational graduate school of theology in Quezon City, Philippines, housed together with Philippine Alliance College of Theology (PACT). It was established in 1977.

Asian Theological Seminary (ATS) is a theological seminary in Quezon City, Philippines.

St. Paul's University, is a private Christian ecumenical University with its main campus in Limuru, Kiambu County Kenya. The students and staff of the University come from all over the world.

David B. Barrett was a visiting professor at Columbia University and research secretary for the Anglican Consultative Council. Barrett was a trained aeronautical engineer who became a missionary with the Church Missionary Society (Anglican). He arrived in Nyanza Province in Western Kenya in 1957. Over the course of 14 years he traveled to 212 of 223 countries and corresponded with Christians all over the world in search of the most up-to-date statistics on Christianity and world religions. His research resulted in the first edition of the World Christian Encyclopedia in 1982.

Sister Anne Nasimiyu Wasike, LSOSF was a Ugandan Catholic theologian, religious sister, and author of books and articles on education, ethics and the empowerment of the poor. She was also editor of several publications. She was a member of a Franciscan African Order of nuns called the "The Little Sisters of St Francis."

Philomena Njeri Mwaura is a Kenyan theologian who is an Associate Professor of Philosophy and Religious Studies at Kenyatta University. She has written in the areas of African theology and mission.
