Almopos Aridea Football Club is a Greek football club based in Aridea, Pella, Greece.
Almopos Aridea was founded in 1926 and its name derives from the ancient region of Almopia, located in the homonymous town of Pella.
The club's last appearance in a professional championship was in the 1984-85 season, when it competed in the Beta Ethniki, where it was relegated due to a deduction.
In recent years he has been competing in local EPS categories. Pella. In the 2015-16 season, he finished undefeated and had the absolute victory in the championship and climbing bar, with the exception of two clashes, where he was tied, thus winning the promotion to the Gamma Ethniki.

The club is named after the ancient historian Herodotus, descended from Halicarnassus, Asia Minor, whose bust is also used as the club logo. Irodotos was established in 1932 by refugees from Asia Minor, who were displaced following the Greco-Turkish War in 1922. By acclamation, Irodotos is considered the third most successful club in Heraklion in terms of achievements, due to its consistent presence in the Second and Third national divisions, but has maintained a considerable fan base, and a longstanding rivalry with local Superleague side OFI, despite the fact the two haven't met in national competitions for almost 30 years. The season 2018–19 will be Veria's 58th year in existence as a football club and the second time ever that will compete in the amateur divisions. On 4 July 2018 a temporary administration is appointed by Veria's local court to the Amateur Veria and they set elections day on 30 July. Bikas Group won the elections and became the new owner of the club. The elections happened to the amateur Veria and not Veria S.A., since the club ceased being an S.A. by getting relegated to Imathia FCA after withdrawing from Football League, a local amateur division in Greek football. In season 2018–19 Veria will compete in the following competitions Gamma Ethniki and Imathia Football Clubs Association Cup after merging with Elpis Skoutari and gaining Elpis tax number (AFM) that made the club eligible to practice at the top tier amateur league and debt free. The club kept the same colours and home ground but was forced to introduce a new club crest. The season covers the period from 1 July 2018 to 30 June 2019.
