Antje Posthumus-Hoekstra (born 1938) is a former Dutch kortebaan speed skater from Oudeschoot.

Hoekstra trained at H.V.B.H.S in Heerenveen. She started competitive speed skating in the winter of 1953-54 and won her first winter three prizes. The next season, after winning a competition in Langezwaag, she became the champion of Heerenveen, winning the "Koerier"-medal in January 1955. [1] [2] This was the last competition on the old-ice rink in Oudeschoot. [3] During the 1950s and early 1960s she won many more competitions and prizes. [4] [5] [6] [7]

On 31 May 1963 Hoekstra married carpenter and contractor Ernst Posthumus at Crackstate  [ nl ] in Heerenveen. As was traditional, her skating colleagues made a human gate with skates outside the church in tribute. [8]

Hoekstra is one of the women mentioned in the book De vrouwen van de hardrijderij (2010), about women's skating in the kortebaan era of the 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s. [9]
