Anwesshaa (born Anwesha Mita Dattagupta; 15 December 1993 [1] [2] [3] [4] ) is an Indian singer and composer in Hindi, Bengali, Kannada, Tamil, Marathi and other Indian languages. She first appeared in the reality show Amul STAR Voice of India , Chhote Ustaad at the age of 13.
Anwesha is a student of Lycée School, Kolkata. She was born into a Baidya Brahmin family in Virar, Maharashtra. When she was four, the family shifted base to their hometown in Kolkata. She went to school in Lycee. Later on, she completed her graduation from Amity University. [1]
Anwesshaa appeared on national television for the first time in the year 2007. Thereafter, she has been a part of various other shows. She started her career as a playback singer with the song "Ek Je Achhe Raja" in the Bengali film Khela (2008). Anwesshaa's first breakthrough in Bollywood was in Golmaal Returns for Pritam Chakraborty at the age of 14. She has recorded songs for many films including 'I am 24, Raanjhanaa', 'Revolver Rani', 'Dangerous Ishq', 'Panchlait', 'I am Banni', 'Kaanchi', 'Prem Ratan Dhan payo', 'Expose', 'Gurudakshina', 'Do lafzon ki kahani', 'Ye Kaisa Tigdam', 'Bansuri', 'I Love Desi', 'Love you Soniyo', 'Dhoop chaav, Malhar' and others. Apart from Hindi and Bengali, she has also made her debut with other Indian languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Gujarati, Marathi, Nepali, Rajasthani, Bhojpuri and also in Bangladeshi films. Her playbacks are for around 500 movies across all languages to date. She has received honours like Filmfare Award (East), [2]
Anwesha performed in Sabujer Deshe in 2000 (ETV Bangla). She was a Mega Finalist in Tarana music competition (1st Schedule) which was telecast in January 2003 (ETV Bangla). In early 2007, she also participated in the musical game show Antakshari (Star Plus) where she represented East Zone.[ citation needed ]
In 2023, she composed music and background score for Marathi film Pahije Jatiche , made her debut in Marathi cinema. [3]

Rahul Dev Burman was an Indian music director and actor, who is considered to be one of the greatest and most successful music directors of the Hindi film music industry. From the 1960s to the 1990s, Burman composed musical scores for 331 films, bringing a new level of music ensemble with his compositions. Burman did his major work with legendary singers Mohammed Rafi, Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar, and Asha Bhosle. He also worked extensively with lyricist Gulzar, with whom he has some of the most memorable numbers in his career. Nicknamed Pancham, he was the only son of the composer Sachin Dev Burman and his Bengali lyricist wife Meera Dev Burman.
Star Voice of India is an Indian television singing competition that premiered on 18 May 2007 and ended on 24 November 2007 on StarPlus. The show was directed by Gajendra Singh, creator of the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa series, and produced by Urban Brew Studios. It also featured judges from the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa series, Aadesh Shrivastava, Abhijeet Bhattacharya, Alka Yagnik, Lalit Pandit and Jatin Pandit. Shaan, who had previously been hosting Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. The winner of the show was Ishmeet Singh Sodhi.
Anandalok Puraskar or Anandalok Awards ceremony is an award ceremony for Bengali film in India. The Anandalok, only film magazine in Bengali language, published from Ananda Publishers and Ananda Bazar Patrika presents this award (Puraskar). The magazine was started on 25 January 1975 and the awards ceremony was started in 1998.
Aishwarya Majmudar is an Indian singer. She gained popularity after winning the 2007–08 musical reality show STAR Voice of India - Chhote Ustad at the age of 15. Anupam Roy is an Indian singer-songwriter, music director, composer, songwriter, guitarist, playback singer, engineer from Kolkata, India. He made his debut with Amake Amar Moto Thakte Dao & Benche Thakar Gaan, which appeared on the soundtrack of the 2010 Bengali film Autograph. Since then, he has gone on to compose, write lyrics and sing for many Bengali films.
Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar 2 is an Indian reality show which is running on STAR Plus. It is in its 2nd season. Its 1st season premiered on 11 April 2008 and ended on 12 July 2008 now it has again started from 31 March 2012 and its finale was on 24 June 2012 Irfan won the title of Jo Jeeta Wohi Super Star 2, Sreeram took the 2nd place while Akanksha took the 3rd place

Mayar Badhon is a 1997 Bengali film directed by Swapan Saha and produced by Shree Venkatesh Films under the banner of Shree Venkatesh Films.
