Arms and the Man is a 1971 British television play. It was an adaptation of a stage production of the play that had been performed at the Chinchester Festival. ^{[1] [2]}

Laurence Harvey said he hoped the play would "show how I've developed the sort of characters I play since Room at the Top." ^[3]

The Eastern Daily Press called Harvey's performance "magnificent." ^[4] The Birmingham Evening Mail called it "splendidly stylish." ^[5]
