Arroyo Valley High School is a public high school established in 2001 inside the San Bernardino City Unified School District, located in the City of San Bernardino, California.
Arroyo Valley High School is part of the International Baccalaureate Organization including the high school portion of the Middle Years Programme and IB Diploma Programme. [2] The school offers the AVID program, AP Courses, and Standard Core along with different academies that prepare students in the path of their preferred career. [3] These Career Academies include Core Academy, [4] Teaching Academy, Global Leadership Academy, [5] and Digital Media Academy. [6] The school has an Academic Decathlon team. The school in March 2016, was given the Gaston Caperton Opportunity Award which recognized the increasing rate of students that participated in the AP exams and their increasing success in them. [7]

According to U.S. News & World Report , 98% of Arroyo Valley's student body is "of color," with 95% of the student body coming from an economically disadvantaged household, determined by student eligibility for California's Reduced-price meal program. [8]
The International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO), more commonly known as the International Baccalaureate (IB), is a nonprofit foundation headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, and founded in 1968. It offers four educational programmes: the IB Diploma Programme and the IB Career-related Programme for students aged 15 to 19, the IB Middle Years Programme for students aged 11 to 16, and the IB Primary Years Programme for children aged three to 12. To teach these programmes, schools must be authorized by the International Baccalaureate.

The Baccalaureate School for Global Education (BSGE) is a New York City public high school located in the Astoria section of Queens, New York. BSGE was established in 2002. It serves a student body of about 400 students between the 7th and 12th grades. The school is authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization to offer both the MYP and also the IB Diploma Programme rather than the Standard State Curriculum along with AP exams for regular public schools. As per the U.S. News 2018 High School Ranking, BSGE was ranked #9 in the nation, and ranked #1 in New York.
