The men's 100 metres at the 2011 IPC Athletics World Championships were held at the QEII Stadium from 22–26 January
The women's 100m T53 event at the 2008 Summer Paralympics took place at the Beijing National Stadium on 12 September. There were two heats; the first 3 in each heat (Q) plus the 2 fastest other times (q) qualified.
The men's 100 metres at the 2019 World Para Athletics Championships was held in Dubai from 7–15 November.
The men's 100 metres T11 event at the 2020 Summer Paralympics in Tokyo, took place between 1 and 2 September 2021.
The Men's 100m athletics events for the 2024 Summer Paralympics will take place at the Stade de France from 30 August to 7 September, 2024. A total of 16 events will be contested over this distance. T11 and T12 events will be hosted over three rounds, to accommodate sighted guides, while the T51 event will be held as a straight final. All other 100 metre events will consist of a first round and a final.
