DW-TV is a German multilingual TV news network of Deutsche Welle. Tending to focus on news and informational programming, it first started broadcasting 1 April 1992. They are broadcast on satellite and uplinked from Berlin. DW English broadcast service is aimed at the overseas market.

Reliance Entertainment Media and entertainment company

Reliance Entertainment Pvt Ltd is an Indian media and entertainment company. It is a division of Reliance Group, handling its media and entertainment business, across content and distribution platforms. The company was founded on February 15, 2005 as two entities, namely Reliance Big Entertainment and BIG Pictures. Four years later the two companies were merged into Reliance BIG Pictures in 2009, and the company's name was changed to Reliance Entertainment the following year.

The Big STAR Entertainment Awards were presented annually by Reliance Broadcast Network Limited in association with Star India to honour personalities from the field of entertainment across movies, music, television, sports, theatre and dance. The award is touted to be a completely viewer driven award where in audience participation right from nominations to the final winners through SMS and online voting across the categories is used for deciding the winners. The award was announced on 12 December 2010 and the first ever nominations for 2010 Awards were published online through various entertainment websites on 15 December. The last award ceremony happened in 2015.

Reliance MediaWorks Limited (RMW) is a film and entertainment services company and a member of the Reliance Group.

Direct-to-Home (DTH) television is a method of receiving satellite television by means of signals transmitted from direct-broadcast satellites. The Govt. of India (GoI) permitted the reception and distribution of satellite television signals in November 2000. The first DTH service in the country was launched by Dish TV on 2 October 2003. DD Free Dish, the first free DTH service in India, was launched by public broadcaster Prasar Bharati in December 2004.

BIG Tamil Entertainment Award is an accolade presented by the Reliance Broadcast Network Limited under three broad categories: Television, Film, Arts. Part of the BIG Regional Entertainment Awards, the awards were presented first in 2011 for the best of 2010. The ceremony was held on 26 March 2011. The media partner was The Hindu and the broadcast partner was Vijay TV. The winners were elected by people's voting.

<i>Qubool Hai</i> Indian soap apera

Qubool Hai is an Indian soap opera that was produced by 4 Lions Films and broadcast on Zee TV. It is the sixth television series of 4 Lions Films. The series focused on the Muslim community and initially aimed to dispel stereotypes regarding Islam, and had been credited for pioneering Muslim oriented programming in Indian television.

Ruhanika Dhawan Indian child actress

Ruhanika Dhawan is an Indian television actress. She started her career with the 2012 Zee TV's show Mrs. Kaushik Ki Paanch Bahuein as Aashi. She was then approached to play the roles of young Ruhi Bhalla and Pihu in Star Plus's series Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. For her performance she won several awards, including the Indian Telly Award for Most Popular Child Actress.

ABS Free Dish

ABS Free Dish is a Bermuda-based free-to-air digital direct-broadcast satellite television service owned and operated by the Asia Broadcast Satellite. It is the second free-to-air satellite television service in India. Initially, ABS2 satellite at 75° was used to broadcast 97 FTA MPEG-2 channels and one MPEG4 channel. In India, it is headed by Mr. Rajiv Khattar, the erstwhile President of Dish TV India having more than 25 years of cable and broadcasting industry experience.
