Bill Kinkade (born 1957) is an American politician. He is a Republican representing the 52nd district in the Mississippi House of Representatives.

Political career

In 2012, former 52nd district representative Tommy L. Wood resigned, and a special election was held to replace him. Kinkade ran against Jeremy Bryan and Van Wicker; no candidate won a majority, and Kinkade and Bryan advanced to a runoff, which Kinkade won. In 2015 and 2019, Kinkade ran again and, both times, was unopposed in both the Republican primary and the general election. [1]

Tate Reeves 65th Governor of Mississippi

Jonathon Tate Reeves is an American politician serving as the 65th and current governor of Mississippi since 2020. A member of the Republican Party, he was the 53rd Mississippi State Treasurer from 2004 to 2012 and the 32nd lieutenant governor of Mississippi from 2012 to 2020. At age 29, he was the youngest state treasurer in the nation when elected in 2003 and the first Republican to hold the office in Mississippi. Jean M. Hunhoff is an American politician and a Republican member of the South Dakota House of Representatives representing District 18 since January 2015. She also served consecutively in the South Dakota Legislature from January 2001 until January 2007 in the South Dakota House of Representatives District 18 seat. Between those two House stints, she represented District 18 in the South Dakota Senate from 2007 to 2015. Hunhoff was the mayor of Yankton from 1995 until 1997.

Jeramey Anderson American politician from Mississippi (born 1991)

Jeramey Anderson when elected to the Mississippi statehouse in 2013, was the youngest ever African-American candidate to be elected to any legislature in the United States. After finishing first in a special election on November 5, 2013, he ran against the former mayor of Moss Point, Aneice Liddell, in a runoff election to replace then-Representative Billy Bromfield. Bromfield had vacated his House seat after winning the election mayor of Moss Point. Both Anderson and Liddell ran as independents. Since being sworn in on his 22nd birthday he has appeared on MSNBC, been featured in the NAACP magazine February issue. He was a guest on the Tom Joyner morning show with Roland Martin and appeared in Essence Magazine as a future Presidential Candidate. Representative Anderson has spoken at several high school and college commencements all across the country; Representative Anderson was recognized as a “Young Riser” at the 2015 BET Honors by BET which aired Nationally & Internationally.
