Karl Malinsky Gibbs (born October 31,1963) is an American politician. He is a member of the Mississippi House of Representatives from the 36th District,first elected in 2013. He is a member of the Democratic party. [1] [2]
George Hamilton-Gordon,4th Earl of Aberdeen,styled Lord Haddo from 1791 to 1801,was a British statesman,diplomat and landowner,successively a Tory,Conservative and Peelite politician and specialist in foreign affairs. He served as Prime Minister from 1852 until 1855 in a coalition between the Whigs and Peelites,with Radical and Irish support. The Aberdeen ministry was filled with powerful and talented politicians,whom Aberdeen was largely unable to control and direct. Despite his efforts to avoid this happening,his ministry took Britain into the Crimean War,and fell when the war's conduct became unpopular. Subsequently,Aberdeen retired from politics.

Gibb is well known for his wide vocal range including a far-reaching high-pitched falsetto. Gibb's career has spanned over 60 years.

Gibb would later have substance use problems and depression. He died on 10 March 1988 aged 30.
The Jackson State killings occurred on May 15,1970,at Jackson State College in Jackson,Mississippi. On May 14,1970,city and state police confronted a group of students outside a campus dormitory. Shortly after midnight,the police opened fire,killing two students and injuring twelve. The event happened 11 days after the Kent State shootings,in which National Guardsmen killed four students at Kent State University in Ohio during a protest against the Vietnam War. The Kent State event had first captured national attention.

He played college football as a quarterback at the University of Mississippi and professionally as a safety in the National Football League (NFL) with the Cleveland Browns. The 1960 Ole Miss Rebels football team represented the University of Mississippi during the 1960 college football season. In their fourteenth season under head coach Johnny Vaught,the Rebels compiled a 10–0–1 record and won their fourth Southeastern Conference (SEC) championship. Their only blemish was a 6–6 tie against LSU. Mississippi was the only major-conference team in the nation that finished the season undefeated on the field.
