The Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust (BBOWT), is a wildlife trust covering the counties of Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire in England.
Bucklebury Common is an elevated common consisting of woodland with a few relatively small clearings in the English county of Berkshire, within the civil parish of Bucklebury centred 3 miles (4.8 km) northeast of Thatcham and encircling the settled localities of Upper Bucklebury and Chapel Row. It is one of the largest commons in Southern England covering 350 hectares. Since Inclosure the area is privately owned by the Bucklebury Manor estate, but has public access on a network of public rights of way bolstered by the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000.
Mickfield Meadow is a 1.9 hectare biological Site of Special Scientific Interest north of Mickfield in Suffolk. It is managed by the Suffolk Wildlife Trust.
Metfield Meadow is a 1.3 hectare biological Site of Special Scientific Interest west of Halesworth in Suffolk. It is owned and managed by Suffolk Wildlife Trust under the name Winks Meadow.
Roding Valley Meadows is an 18.9 hectare biological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Buckhurst Hill in Essex. It is part of a 65.2 hectare Local Nature Reserve with the same name, which is owned by Epping Forest District Council and Grange Farm Trust, and managed by the Essex Wildlife Trust.
Kings Wood and Glebe Meadows is a 36.1 hectare Site of Special Scientific Interest in Houghton Conquest in Bedfordshire. A local teenage boy, Peter Sollars, discovered many rich communities of plants there, including a number of rare species, e.g. Butcher's Broom, Small Teasel and Green Hellebore in the wood, and combinations of Lady's Bedstraw, Spiny Restharrow, Great Burnet, Adders Tongue Fern and Cowslips in the meadows. The County Botanist at the time, John Dony, was notified of his findings, which were confirmed by a site visit with Peter. The site was notified in 1984 under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, and the planning authority is Central Bedfordshire. It is also a Local Nature Reserve.
Maulden Church Meadow is a 4.1 hectare biological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Maulden in Bedfordshire. It was notified in 1987 under section 28 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, and the local planning authority is Central Bedfordshire Council. Most of it is also a Local Nature Reserve, owned and managed by Central Bedfordshire Council.
Frieth Meadows is a 2.5 hectare Site of Special Scientific Interest in Frieth in Buckinghamshire. It is in the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Hemingford Grey Meadow is a 0.7 hectare biological Site of Special Scientific Interest south of Hemingford Grey in Cambridgeshire. It is managed by the Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire as Arthur's Meadow.
Wolvercote Meadows is a 7.1-hectare (18-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest north of Oxford in Oxfordshire. Part of it is owned by the Oxford Preservation Trust. It is part of Oxford Meadows Special Area of Conservation.
Ratlake Meadows is a 4.2-hectare (10-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest north of Chandler's Ford in Hampshire.
