The Centennial Community Centre is a 2,300-seat arena and community centre located in Markham, Ontario, north of Toronto.
The facility was originally built in 1972 as a 1,800-seat arena, and in 1999 renovations were made which expanded beyond the arena.
The arena was home to the Markham Waxers junior team in the OPJHL, and also occasionally hosted the Toronto Marlboros of the Ontario Hockey League in the mid 1970s. Beginning in 2015 the arena became home ice for the Markham Royals, which succeeded the Waxers at the city's OPJHL team.
The ice rink surface is NHL regulation size with seating around most of the rink.

An outdoor skate park is located to the west of the community centre across from the ice rink along with two baseball fields (with concrete seating behind home plate) and a soccer pitch (with seating on one side).
The arena is located across the street from Markville Shopping Centre and has access to GO Transit's Centennial train station on McCowan Road.
Toronto Transit Commission 129 McCowan North and GO Buses provides public transit connections to MCC. Parking spaces are found on the east and west sides of the building. Centennial train station's parking structure is for GO commuters only.

Markham is a city in York Region, Ontario, Canada. It is approximately 30 km (19 mi) northeast of Downtown Toronto. In the 2021 Census, Markham had a population of 338,503, which ranked it the largest in York Region, fourth largest in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), and 16th largest in Canada.

The Guelph Platers were a junior ice hockey team based in Guelph, Ontario, Canada. The team played in the Ontario Hockey League, Ontario Junior Hockey League, and Southern Ontario Junior A Hockey League. They were originally known as the CMC's until 1972, the Biltmore Mad Hatters until 1975, and then took on the name Platers. The Platers were promoted to the Ontario Hockey League in 1982 and moved to Owen Sound in 1989. The franchise played in the Guelph Memorial Gardens.

The Couchiching Terriers were a Junior A ice hockey team from Rama, Ontario, Canada from Lake Couchiching. The team originated in neighbouring Orillia, Ontario, and played in the Ontario Junior A Hockey League. The Terriers were 1985 Centennial Cup National Champions and three time Dudley Hewitt Cup Central Canadian Champions. The team folded in 2010 when offered a buyout from the league.

CF Markville, also known as Markville Shopping Centre in the Cadillac Fairview chain of malls, is a shopping mall of over 140 stores in Markham, Ontario, Canada. It is located at the intersection of Highway 7 East and McCowan Road, and runs along Bullock Drive, located slightly west of McCowan Road. Its anchors are Hudson's Bay, Winners, Walmart Supercentre, Decathlon, Sporting Life, Marshalls, Uniqlo, Best Buy, and a Toys "R" Us/Babies "R" Us combo store. It has a gross leasable area of 981,000 square feet (91,100 m2). It was the largest shopping mall in York Region until 2004 when Vaughan Mills opened.
Runnymede Park is a medium-sized public park located in The Junction neighbourhood of Toronto, Canada, one block east of Runnymede Road. Its southern boundary is the West Toronto Yard used by the Canadian Pacific Railway, its northern boundary is Ryding Avenue, while a laneway and parking lot make up the western and eastern boundaries respectively. Markham Village is the historic town centre of Markham, Ontario, Canada. Originally settled in 1825, the village, which was originally named "Reesorville" sometime after 1804 and also known as "Mannheim", was founded by Mennonites from Upstate New York and Pennsylvania. Eventually, as Upper Canada started to experience immigration from the British Isles, Markham would experience significant growth. By 1825, the name "Markham" was established as the permanent name. In 1850, it was established as a police village, and in 1873 was fully incorporated as a village within York County. Markham was amalgamated with the surrounding Markham Township, which included the villages of Unionville and Thornhill in 1971, and incorporated as a town.

The Winnipeg Auditorium was an indoor arena in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. It was the premier site for ice hockey in Winnipeg from the time of its construction in 1898. The Auditorium rink hosted several Stanley Cup championship series. It was located at the intersection of Garry Street and York Avenue. It was destroyed by fire in 1926.
Cornell Community Centre is a 129,000-square-foot centre, located at 3201 Bur Oak Ave, Markham, Ontario and centred within the community of Cornell. It is one of the newest community centres in the City of Markham. It was opened on December 17, 2012, and includes many features. The community centre is connected to Markham Stouffville Hospital, allowing many different facilities to be available for patients and doctors. The Library also has a section dedicated to health, diseases, and hospital usages on the second floor.
McCowan District Park is a 8.1-hectare (20-acre) recreational park in the Eglinton East neighbourhood of Scarborough, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The park is located along McCowan Road, south of the Lakeshore East commuter rail line of GO Transit.
