Chandan Singh is an Indian politician from Bihar. He was elected to the Lok Sabha, the lower house of the Parliament of India from Nawada Parliamentary constituency in the 2019 Indian general election. He contested as a member of the Lok Janshakti Party. [1] [2] He is member of Standing Committee on Industry and Consultative Committee, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways in Indian Parliament. [3]

He was one of the 5 MP of LJP who replaced Chirag Paswan with Pashupati Nath Paras as LJP party president. [4]

At the time of his death, he was a member of the Lok Janshakti Party political party. His son Prince Raj won the bye-poll occasioned by his death. He was the younger brother of Ram Vilas Paswan.

He defeated vice-president of RJD Raghuvansh Prasad Singh by around 1 lakh votes. He enjoys considerable support from the Rajput caste despite having criminal antecedent. He quit all party posts he held on 15 September 2015.

She has been associated with several political parties in past, right from Samata Party and Janata Dal (United) to Bharatiya Janata Party. In 2015, she contested from Samastipur Assembly seat on a BJP ticket where she lost to RJD candidate.

He was elected to the Bihar Legislative Assembly representing the Govindganj Assembly Constituency in 2015 Bihar Legislative Assembly election as a Member of the Lok Janshakti Party. He is brother of the Former Member of Bihar Legislator Rajan Tiwari.

He is the son of Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha Rajesh Kumar. He is also a social worker and member of the Rashtriya Janata Dal, the largest political party in the state of Bihar, India. He was elected twice as the representative of the Bodh Gaya, being the first to do so in 63 years. He belongs to the Dalit community of Paswan. He entered politics after his father's murder.
