The fourth season of the Indian music television series, Coke Studio @ MTV, aired from 1 March 2015, to 4 October 2015. Following the format of previous seasons, the season featured original compositions created and produced by various music composers. It consisted of six episodes and presented a total of 17 songs. The season was led by Creative Director Jagjit Singh. Pratik Gupta served as the Behind-the-Music Director. The production team consisted of Producers Pradeep Giri and Shashwat Singh. Parichit Paralkar served as Art Director, with Sita Ram Mistry as his Assistant Art Director. Zee Music Company was the official music partner for the season. [3]

In a press release, Coke Studio revealed that season 4 would feature 12 episodes, each 30 minutes long. However, only 6 episodes were released, and the show ended abruptly in October 2015. It was also the final season of Coke Studio @ MTV. [15]
Amar Singh Chamkila was an Indian singer and musician of Punjabi music. Chamkila's vivid language, high-pitched vocals, and novel compositions accompanied by tumbi made him popular. His music was influenced by the Punjabi village life in which he grew up. On 8 March 1988, at the height of his popularity, Chamkila and his second wife Amarjot were killed along with two members of their band in an assassination which remains unsolved.
Gurdas Maan is an Indian singer, songwriter and actor mainly associated with Punjabi language music and films. He gained national attention in 1980 with the song "Dil Da Mamla Hai". Since then, he had gone on to record over 34 albums and had written over 305 songs. In 2015 he performed on the song "Ki Banu Dunia Da" with Diljit Dosanjh in MTV Coke studio India that was aired in season 4 episode 5 on MTV India.
Diljit Dosanjh is an Indian singer, actor, film producer and television personality. He works in Punjabi Music and subsequently in Punjabi and Hindi cinema. Dosanjh entered Social 50 chart by Billboard in 2020. He is featured in various music charts including Canadian Albums Chart, UK Asian chart by Official Charts Company and New Zealand Hot Singles. His movies, including Jatt & Juliet 2, Punjab 1984, Sajjan Singh Rangroot and Honsla Rakh are among the highest grossing Punjabi films in history.

This includes classical genres from the Indian subcontinent like Hindustani, Carnatic, Indian folk, alongside hip hop, rock, and pop music.
Sachin–Jigar are an Indian music composer, singer, music producer, music director and arranger duo consisting of Sachin Sanghvi and Jigar Saraiya. They compose for Hindi and Gujarati language films. Before working independently as music directors, they served as orchestrators for Pritam.

Mukhtiar Chadha is a Punjabi romantic comedy film starring Diljit Dosanjh and Oshin Brar. In August 2015, he performed live at MTV Coke Studio along with Gurdas Maan and Diljit Dosanjh on the song "Ki Banu Duniya Da" which was widely appreciated allover the world.
Chaamp is a 2017 Indian Bengali-language sports action drama film directed by Raj Chakraborty with story written by Dev. Produced by Dev, the film stars him in the lead role, along with Rukmini Maitra, in her debut film and Chiranjeet Chakraborty, Priyanka Sarkar, Kamaleswar Mukherjee who stars in other pivotal roles. After releasing initially in West Bengal on 23 June 2017, the film released all over India on 30 June 2017. The concept of the film was penned by Dev.

The narrative revolves around a newly appointed police officer who attempts to curb crime and corruption in his town with the help of his sidekick.

Indian singer Diljit Dosanjh has released 13 studio albums, one extended plays, and 41 singles. In 2020, he entered the Social 50 chart by Billboard, following the release of his 11th album G.O.A.T.
